Vacuum Hose with Adapters
How to Prime a Vacuum Hose:

Connect the swivel-cuff end of the vacuum hose to the hose adapter located on the top of your vacuum. It is important that the swivel cuff is connected as this will aid in maneuverability and reduce any kinks in the hose as you clean around the pool or spa.

With your vacuum head connected to your pool pole, place the vacuum in the water along with the entire vacuum hose.

The Vaccum hose will be floating on the surface of the water. Feed the hose into the water, starting at the connected end, to ensure that the entire hose has been submerged. This will ensure that the water enters the entire hose. When you get to the other end of the hose you should be able to see water inside which will indicate that is properly filled.
Alternate Tips to Fill the Hose:
Tip #1 Place the free end of the vacuum hose into the return line of the pool which will push water into the hose.
Tip #2 Use a garden hose to fill directly into the free end of the vacuum hose.

Once the vacuum hose is filled with water, it is primed and ready to connect to your skimmer or suction part of the pool.
