Cleaning and maintenance

Clean your beard trimmer regularly. A regular care of your rechargeable beard trimmer and its accessories will extend the life of your equipment.

AFTER EACH USE Ensure that the beard trimmer is switched off. Clean the product using cloth which is slightly dampened in water. Do not use abrasive cleansers on the equipment, on the comb or its blade. Never use hair dryer or a heater to dry the product.

Brush cleaning The trimming comb can be removed from the main body (trimmer) and cleaned using cleaning brush available in the box (fig 15-16). Brush off carefully and blow, if necessary, to remove the remaining beard hair on the blade. Do not use wire or abrasive brush so as not to damage the beard trimmer.

Caution on lubrication Apply only light oil like the one supplied in this kit. Lubricating is must in the space between stationary and moving blades with 1-2 drops of oil which keep blades sharpness and enhance operating time.

Comb washing Remove the comb. Rinse it under clean running water. Allow it to dry completely.

Use of the device

Charging instructions
For best performance, fully charge the device before use. Insert the tip of your cable into the device and the USB end into the device of your choice (computer, adapter, external battery, etc.). If you choose to charge your device via computer, the charging time will be longer. With an external battery or mobile phone adapter, charging will take 8 hours. If you want to use your product with an adapter (not included) instead of the USB cable (fig 17-18), please respect the voltage and current mentioned on the product (5V, 1A). When the product is charging the number will increase and the red light will be always on. 99 number light up once the device is fully charged, and red light will go off. Note : The product may become slightly warm while charging. Your device cannot be overcharged. However if the product is not going to be used for an extended period time ( 2-3months), unplug it and store it. Fully recharge it when you would like to use it again.

Adjusting the appliance:
To remove the heads parts check fig 1-2.
When fitting the head of the appliance, push the bottom of the head into the small notch and press until it clicks into place (fig. 3-4).
To attach the full-size trimmer, do the same until it is locked to the unit (fig. 5-6). There are four positioning combs with four levels as below:

Remove the full size trimmer by pushing it forward ( fig 7-8) Remove the shaving head by pushing it forward (fig 9). Attach the shaving head by pushing it into the small notch and press until it clicks into place (fig 10). Note: Always attach the comb BEFORE switching on the beard trimmer and ensure that the beard trimmer is switched off when putting or removing the comb attachment.

Using instructions
Instructions for beard/moustache trimming ( fig 23-24) For even cutting, allow the comb attachment/blade to cut its way through the beard/moustache hair. Do not force it through quickly. If you are cutting for the first time, start with the maximum comb length attachment.

To thin and taper the beard/moustache
– Turn the unit on.
– Select the desired length setting on the adjustable comb.
– Place the flat top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
– Slowly slide the through the hair. Repeat from different directions, as necessary.

Note: Remove trimmer comb attachment if you if you want to define hairlines edges such as sideburns, trimming the nape of your neck, trimming your beard line or front of neck.

To define the beard/moustache ( fig 19-20)
Hold your device with precision trimmer blade facing you, start with edge of beard/moustache line and gently lower the trimmer onto your skin. Use motions towards edge of beard/moustache line to trim to desired location in facial area and away from beard in neck area.

To use design trimmer ( fig 25)
Attach design trimmer head Then begin your design by removing hair according to the shape you have chosen. You can use it to remove hair from eyebrows (fig 26).

To use body trimmer ( fig 27-28)
Attach body trimmer head and remove the hair where you like.

To remove hair from nose and ear ( fig 29)
Attach nose trimmer head Insert the nose trimmer gently into nostril or ear and move it in and out at the same time rotate. Avoid inserting the cutting part more than 6 mm into nostril or ear.

To use the micro shaver trimmer (fig 30)
Attach the micro shaver trimmer Hold the clipper so that the micro shaver gently touches your face in a 45-degree angle. Use short well controlled movements to shave around beard/moustache, with your free hand stretch your skin so that the hair stands upright, making it easier to shave.

Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment). (Applicable in the European Union and the rest of Europe that have adopted separate collection systems countries). The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
