Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. Remove the cover from the frame of the inside cover.
  2. Remove the left plastic cover to access the 12V section by releasing the snap-in at the top left.
  3. Press and hold the button on the board for 10 seconds to remove the device from the mesh network.
  4. Disconnect the device from the power supply by turning off the fuse for the circuit.
  5. Remove the right plastic cover to access the 230V section by loosening the center screw and pulling it off.
  6. If a sensor is installed, remove it by pulling it off the circuit board. Disconnect fan and power cables.
  7. Carefully loosen the circuit board at the upper snap-in hook and tilt it forward to remove it.

Safety Precautions

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use recommended components. Modifications are prohibited. Disconnect power before any maintenance tasks.

INSTALLATION

Remove the left plastic cover to gain access to the 12 V section of the inside cover. Do this by releasing the snap-in at the top left. Vasco-D13

Before carrying out any further steps, disconnect the device from the power supply by turning off the fuse for the circuit. This should only be done by trained professionals.

Remove the right plastic cover to gain access to the 230 V section of the inside cover. To do this, loosen the center screw and pull it off the frame along with the plastic cover. Vasco-D13-Controlled-Ventilation-System-fig

Remove the sensor (1) , if it is installed, by pulling it off the circuit board. Also, disconnect the fan cable (2) on the left side and the power cable (3) on the right side from the board.

Remove the circuit board by carefully loosening it at the upper snap-in hook and tilting it slightly forward. It can then be removed. Vasco-D13

Insert the new board into the frame‘s holder by inserting it into the lower snap-in hooks and then carefully tipping it backwards so that it also snaps into place behind the upper snap-in hook. Vasco-D13-Controlled-Ventilation-

Take over the setting of the DIP switch from the old board. For more information on configuring the DIP switch, use the illustration on the left- hand side of the circuit board or the operating instructions of the functional unit. Vasco-D13-Controlled-Ventilation-System-fig

Now reinstall the sensor (1) if it was used before. Then connect the fan cable (2) and the power cable (3) to the new board. Vasco-D13-Controlled-

Once the device is successfully integrated into the mesh, the left plastic cover of the 12 V section can be installed. Insert the cover at the bottom and make sure that the upper snap-in hook engages. Vasco-D13-Controlled-

Install the cover onto the frame of the inside cover. Make sure that the snap- in hooks of the cover engage correctly.
