Introduction
The DM801 allows external control of DM8000 Digital Audio Processor over
Ethernet,
including 3rd party Control systems.
Front and Rear Panels
- POWER indicator lights up to show the unit is operating and receiving power via Ethernet.
- ETHERNET port allows DM801 to connect to an Ethernet network. To use with an Ethernet based third-party control system, be sure to address port 10000 for control of the DM8000. Use the DM Designer application to discover and set DM801 IP properties. By default, DM801 is set to receive an IP address from a DHCP server.
- RESET switch allows you to reboot the DM801 unit. To press the switch, insert a small pin or stylus into the hole and press.
- RS232 ports allow DM801 to accept and transmit commands to the main DM8000 unit and third-party serial based control systems.
