SOFTWARE
Button utility to simplify document scanning. DocAction enables you to specify
your personalized scanning conguration settings and scan documents with the
click of a button. Scanned documents are automatically sent directly to
Printer, Email, Folder or FTP. DocAction also enables you to scan directly to
many imaging and document management applications. DocAction saves scanned
documents in all common imaging formats including JPEG, TIFF, and PDF.
Plustek DocAction
Plustek MacAction is the button utility software enables scanning by simply
touching a button. The easy-to-use function provides users with a platform to
edit the scan settings and modify the saving destination. MacAction also
enables you to scan directly and save scanned documents in all common imaging
formats including JPEG, TIFF, MULTI-TIFF, BMP, and PDF.

Plustek OCR (powered by ABBYY) helps to convert scanned paper documents, photos, and PDF les into editable formats. With Plustek OCR, you can convert paper documents to editable formats, including Microsoft® Word®, and Excel®, edit resulting documents, and reuse their text and other content.

The PS30D scanner deliver speed, image quality, and great paper handling, along with easy integration and compatibility with document imaging applications. Designed to perform in today’s demanding working environments, the PS30D effortlessly handles mission-critical or routine daily scanning tasks, thanks to scanning speeds up to 30ppm in Grayscale (200 & 300dpi) and an impressive 25ppm in colour (200dpi).

FEATURES
Easy-to-Use MacAction
Users can scan to their PC or Mac computer with the Smart Office PS30D Plus scanner by simply pressing a button. DocAction (PC) and MacAction (Mac) enable users to create and save 9 different scanning jobs including: scan to folder, scan to email, copy, create PDF and more. To scan, simply insert the paper, select the job and press scan! Files are saved in any of the following formats Searchable PDF, PDF/A, Word, Excel*, JPEG and TIFF.
Easy to perform scanning
The compact and modern PS30D ts easily onto any officce desktop. Daily tasks
can be performed with one-touch simplicity to boost users’ productivity,
thanks to nine programmable job buttons and user friendly DocAction software.
Numerous features such as Auto Color Detection, Auto Rotate for Text
Orientation, Multi-image output, Remove Blank Pages, Remove Punch Holes,
Remove Background, Denoise, Character Enhancement are included, so there’s no
need to pre-sort your documents before scanning. You can handle anything from
fragile documents to thick card and embossed media. It’s even possible to scan
A3 documents in Folio mode: unique for a scanner of this type. Long paper
scanning is also supported, with capability to scan documents up to 2 metres
in length.
Advanced One-Button Scanning
With Plustek’s DocAction exclusive software application, users only need to
properly place the document on the scanner, the press the “Scan” button. Auto
Deskew, Auto Crop, Auto Size for Page Detection, Gamma, Contrast, Brightness,
Colour Dropout (RGB), Image Edge Fill, Preview, Page Size, Scan Mode, Multi-
image Output, Job Function, Merge Page/Split Page, Card Scanning Mode, Outputs
scanned documents in a variety of formats such as PDF, PDF/A, JPEG and TIFF
formats. It can also recognize text using OCR and create multi-page pdfs with
automatic document feeders.
