Explanation of signs

The triangle containing a lightning symbol is used to indicate whenever your health is at risk (due to electrocution, for example). An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates particular risks in handling or operating the appliance.

Important Safety instructions and danger warnings

  • Please read these instructions carefully, they include important information about the installation, usage, and maintenance of this product.
  • Please keep this User Guide for future reference. If you sell the unit to another user, be sure that he also receives this instruction booklet.
  • Always make sure that you are connecting to the proper voltage, and that the line voltage you are connecting to is not higher than that stated on the decal or rear panel of the fixture.
  • This product is intended for indoor use only!
  • To prevent the risk of fire or shock, do not expose fixtures to rain or moisture. Make sure there are no flammable materials close to the unit while operating.
  • The unit must be installed in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20in (50cm) from adjacent surfaces. Be sure that no ventilation slots are blocked.
  • Always disconnect from the power source before servicing.
  • The maximum ambient temperature (Ta) is 104° F (40°C). Do not operate the fixture at temperatures higher than this.
  • In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the unit immediately. Never try to repair the unit by yourself. Repairs carried out by unskilled people can lead to damage or malfunction. Please contact the nearest authorized technical assistance center. Always use the same type of spare parts.
  • Make sure the power cord is never crimped or damaged.
  • Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.

DISCONNECT DEVICE: Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the
disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

  6. Indicator light: Light up in red when it has finished charging or is in standby mode. It flashes in red when it is charging. It lights up in green during operation.

  7.  On/off switch

  8. OK: press to confirm/enter/play

  9. Left/right: Press to choose Previous/Next; Up/Down in the menu

  10. Mode: Press shortly to choose between sources of Music/Movie/Photo/Txt. Keep pressed to toggle between
    USB & SD input.

  11. Return: Cancel current operation or exit the process.

Installing the Batteries in the Remote Control

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BATTERIES
This symbol indicates that used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste but deposed correctly in accordance with your local regulations. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. When the internal batteries are not to be used, remove them to avoid damage caused by battery leakage or corrosion.
ATTENTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly placed. Only replace by the same or equivalent type.
WARNING: Do not swallow the battery. Danger of chemical burns. Keep new and old batteries out of the reach of children. If the battery compartment doesn’t close properly, stop using the product and keep it out of the reach of children. If you are in doubt whether the batteries have been swallowed or introduced into any other part of the body, contact immediately a doctor.

BEFORE YOU START

Selection of power supply mode

  1. Built-in Battery
    Push battery switch to the left (fig. 1) to switch the unit into standby mode.
    If you wish to operate the unit on battery, please observe following rules:

IMPORTANT NOTE : Appliances containing Lithium-ion batteries

  1. PRIOR to using the unit for the first time, please charge fully the battery
  2. Charge the battery regularly after each use. Don’t wait until it is discharged!
  3. DON’T allow the battery to discharge completely, otherwise it will lose 20% of its capacity or even be totally damaged! If the voltage becomes too low, the internal circuits are not powered anymore and it will become impossible to recharge the battery!
  4. If you don’t use the unit for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge it at 40% of its capacity and check/charge it once per month. The life time of the battery depends on the observance of these recommendations.
    BATTERIES ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
    We cannot be held responsible for damaged batteries further to the non- observance of these basic rules.

2. DC adapter
It is recommended to connect the DC adaptor to the DC IN port first, then plug the lead into the mains and finally set the switch to ON position
3. 5V-2A power bank or charger
You can connect this input to a mobile phone charger or power bank which has an output of 5V/2A. (fig. 2)

Power supply mode
Automatic recognition of power supply:

  • When the unit is connected simultaneously to a 5V and 12V power supply, it will select automatically the 12V supply. When it is connected to a 5V power supply and set to battery operation, it will select automatically 5V.
  • You can charge the built-in battery via an external 5V or 12V power source. When the indicator light flashes in red, the battery is charging. It will light steadily in red when the built-in battery has been fully charged.
  • Please switch the unit off after use in order to save battery power.
  • Before you start, please fully charge the battery.
  • The brightness of the picture is lower in battery or 5V power mode.

Power ON/OFF
Press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds on the unit or the remote control to turn on/off the projector.

Focus adjustment
Place the projector and the projection screen vertically. Adjust the focus until the picture appear clearly on the screen.

PLAYING & SETTING

  1. The play will start automatically when you insert a USB or TF support. If you want to change, press the RETURN button on the unit. Now, you can choose among music, movie, photo, txt or AV input. The unit will start playing at the point where you stopped the previous play.

  2. SETTING MENU
    You can make the settings via the remote control or go back to factory default settings. You can choose a language, set the time-controlled shutdown, brightness, contrast, saturation, and choose among 4 picture flip modes.

  3. Press the menu key on the remote control while playing a video to access the settings menu.
