Front View
| | After the cable modem is successfully registered on the network, the
Power, Send/Receive, and Online indicators illuminate continuously to indicate
that the cable modem is online and fully operational.

Back View
| | The following ports are available on the back of the modem.
- Reset – Use this button to reboot the modem or restore to factory defaults. It is recessed to prevent accidental resets. To reboot the modem, press and hold the Reset button for three to four seconds. To restore factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button for more than 10 seconds. (login/Reset instructions)
- Ethernet (1 – 2) – These ports connect to the 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports on your computer. Provides internet access to a single device. Only one port is active at a time.
- Cable – This outlet connects to the cable wall outlet.
- Power – This outlet connects the modem to the power cord.

MAC Address / WiFi Network Label
| | This label is located on the bottom of the device.
- MAC addresses are written as 12 digits containing both letters and numbers (0-9, A-F).
- A MAC address is unique.
- The first six characters of the MAC address are unique to the manufacturer of the device.
- The default Network Name (SSID) and Passphrase (Preshared Key).
Troubleshooting
The lights indicate the current status of your modem. To troubleshoot any connection problems, use the table below.

Power
| Off| No Power. Verify all cable connections and try resetting the modem.
On| None. Device is powered on.
Send/Receive
| Blinking| Scanning for downstream and upstream channels. Verify all cable
connections and try resetting the modem.
On| None. Connected to the Internet.
Online
| Off| Internet is not available. Verify all cable connections and try
resetting the modem.
Blinking| Downstream and upstream channel acquisition in progress. Verify all
cable connections and try resetting the modem.
On| None. Internet is available.
2.4 GHz
| On| None. Activity with a connected device on the 2.4 GHz wireless network.
Blinking| None. WiFi is enabled on the 2.4 GHz frequency.
5 GHz
| On| None. Activity with a connected device on the 5 GHz wireless network.
Blinking| None. WiFi is enabled on the 5 GHz frequency.
