ARRIS M6 Wireless Router
Product Information
The product complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s license-exempt RSSs. The device must not cause harmful interference and must accept any interference received. The transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. The product meets the FCC radiation exposure limits and should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm (7.88 inches) between the radiator and the user’s body. The power supply unit input voltage is 100-240V, 50/60 Hz, 1A, and the output voltage is 12.0V, 2A.
Product Usage Instructions
- Do not connect equipment during an electrical storm.
- Do not use the product near water.
- Do not locate the product near flame, ignition, or heat sources.
- Use only the power supply and/or power cord included with the product.
- Clean using only a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or aerosols.
- Install the product near the power outlet.
- If you are in a non-US country, select the country code accordingly. Per FCC regulation, all Wi-Fi products marketed in the US must fix to US operation channels only.
- If you are in Canada, comply with CAN ICES-003(B) / NMB-003(B) regulations. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 centimeters (7.88 inches) between the radiator and your body.

- When disposing of the product, do not dispose of it with residential or commercial waste. Some countries or regions have set up systems to collect and recycle electrical and electronic waste items.
M6 Use Steps
- Connect the M6 to your home router using the Ethernet cable provided.
- Connect the M6 to a power outlet using the power cable provided.
- Enter the user credentials (refer to the label on this card) on your 6GHz-capable devices to connect to the M6 AP.
- If you have another M6 acting as a subordinate device, push the WPS (Sync) button of the M6 AP and the subordinate device together. They will get connected via Wi-Fi.
- The Xbox, PC, or other devices connect to the subordinate M6 device via a LAN port to access the internet.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
FCC Caution: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
Note: The country code selection is for non-US models only and is not available to all US models. Per FCC regulation, all Wi-Fi products marketed in the US must fix to US operation channels only.
- This device is restricted to indoor use only.
- The operation of this device is prohibited on oil platforms, cars, trains, boats, and aircraft, except that operation of this device is permitted in large aircraft while flying above 10,000 feet.
- Operation of transmitters in the 5.925-7.125GHz band is prohibited for control of or communications with unmanned aircraft systems.

CANADIAN COMPLIANCE
CAN ICES-003(B) / NMB-003(B) This device complies with Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada’s license-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause interference; and
- This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
The device meets the exemption from the routine evaluation limits in section 2.5 of RSS 102 and compliance with RSS-102 RF exposure, users can obtain Canadian information on RF exposure and compliance.
- Operation shall be limited to indoor use only; and
- Operation on oil platforms, cars, trains, boats, and aircraft shall be prohibited except for on large aircraft flying above 10,000 ft.

Ground coaxial cable shield at building/residence either close to the point of entry or at the point of attachment. Ground as close as practical to the building/ residence to minimize grounding connector length and reduce potential voltage differences between cable TV coaxial cable and another grounding system. Ensure the coax cable attached to the device is in good physical shape and properly tightened to the unit. Do not block ventilation openings. Never stand it on soft furnishings or carpets. In areas with a high number of power surge events, additional power surge protection may be required.
