To pair with your Robot follow the below steps

Experiencing an error when pairing?

  • Uninstall & reinstall the BISSELL Connect App

  • Restart your phone and attempt the pairing process again

  • If you are still receiving an error, please refer to the error specific troubleshooting steps in our Pairing Errors guide

Do you have an LG phone?

Yes > Go to LG phone settings before attempting to pair

No > Continue to steps below to pair with your robot

Pairing Steps:

  • Step 1: Download the BISSELL Connect App from Apple App store or Google Play store
  • Step 2: Connect to BISSELL Connect App
  • Step 3: Connecting the product to Wi-Fi
  • Step 4: Setting-up the Robot

Step 1: Download the BISSELL Connect app from Apple app store or Google Play store

  • Having difficulty downloading the app? Make sure there is enough storage available on your device and a strong Internet connection
    • If the problem persists, restart your device and try again
    • If the BISSELL Connect App still will not download onto your device, contact your phone service provider

Step 2: Connect to BISSELL Connect App

  • Create a BISSELL account to sign in, or sign in via Google or Facebook

    • If using Facebook to log in you can only be logged into one Facebook account on your mobile device
  • Select product

    • If you have previously created an account click on the hamburger menu on the top left corner of the app
    • Click the plus sign and select a product to add
  • Turn Robot on using the side switch

  • Remove the Dust Bin to find the QR code

    • Right after scanning QR code put machine back right side up
  • If BISSELL would like to Access Your Camera” populates > Click “Go to Settings”

    • Turn the Toggle on next to “Camera”
  • Scan the QR code

    • Ensure your phone Wi-Fi is on, you are connected to your home network & near your router
  • Turn on Robot’s Wi-Fi

    • Press & hold the Start/Pause button for 5 seconds until you hear a beep
    • Select “Ok,It beeped’
      • If machine does not beep, hold down play/pause button for 45 seconds until it beeps 3 times > Power machine on and off with side power switch > Re-attempt pairing
    • Select ‘Next’ to have your phone paired to the Robot’s WiFi
  • On select models a light ring may appear around the machine

  • You will be asked to Join the BISSELL Network, select ‘Join’

  • If prompted to allow BISSELL to find and connect to devices on your local network > Click “Ok”

  • App will show Robot is connecting to the phone – this could take a few minutes

  • Once connection is successful it will be indicated on App

    • Select next

Step 3: Connecting Robot to Wi-Fi

  • Connect the Robot to your home Wi-Fi Network.

    • If network does not show up right away, move the Robot and phone closer to your router and select ‘Rescan’ at the bottom of the screen
    •  Keep the BISSELL Connect App open and active on your phone until the pairing process is complete
  • To change the Wi-Fi network that your Robot is connected to, go to the settings screen within the App and click on the Wi-Fi settings option and then follow the prompts 

    • If your Wi-Fi network does not appear in the list to choose from, make sure you are using a 2.4 GHz frequency Wi-Fi connection, 5 GHz frequency will not appear
  • Enter Wi-Fi Password

  • App will show pairing screen

    • The robot will beep 3 times & the light ring will illuminate when finalizing is complete
    • After machine pairs to internet, it will then connect to the cloud to finish pairing
  • ‘Finalizing Complete’ means the machine has successfully paired to the Internet

    • Select ‘Next’

Step 4: Setting-up the Robot

  • Name your Robot > Select ‘Next’

  • Register your Robot by entering ‘Date Purchased’ and ‘Store Purchased’ information > Select ‘Submit’

    • After you register your Robot you can access Warranty information within the BISSELL App
    • If you had previously registered your machine > Select ‘Skip’ when you come to the ‘Register Your Robot’ screen
      • The registration information was saved from the initial pairing
        • To confirm: Go to Settings > Warranty
