Inspect the cap & insert on the clean tank

If cracked or damaged, replace

The red gasket should be attached to the cap

Fill clean tank with water and secure cap & insert
-
The straw should be touching the very top of the tank
-
When clean tank is turned over (cap side down) a bit of water will drip from cap (only the small amount captured in the straw)

Once straw is above water line it will no longer leak, if it does the cap & insert should be replaced
- If the clean tank is not leaking when held with cap facing down, however, the machine is leaking, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
