Waterproof thermometer, Hendi model: 271162 Battery Safety Instructions

  • The danger of explosion! Batteries must not be re-chargeable or throw in the fire or short-circuited.
  • Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures such as from direct sunlight or fire. Do notplace the product on an eating source.
  • If batteries are already leaked, remove them from the battery compartment with a clean cloth. Dispose of the batteries in accordance with the provisions. Avoid contacting the leaked battery acid.
  •   CAUTION! There is a danger of explosion if the batteries are inserted incorrectly. Use only the same battery types. Do not use old and new batteries together and of a different type from different manufacturers.
  • Always insert batteries in accordance with (+) and (-) polarity as illustrated in the battery compartment.
  • Batteries are life-threatening if swallowed. Store all batteries out of the reach of the children. Seek medical help immediately if batteries are swallowed.
  •  Do not allow children to change batteries.
  • Remove the batteries when you are not going to be using the product for a long period of time.

  1. Probe cover
  2. Digital temperature display
  3.  Ergonomic hand
  4. Memory button MAX/MIN & ºC/ ºF
    • Press MAX/MIN memory button to display maximum temperature.
    •Press MAX/MIN memory button again to display the minimum value.
    •Maximum and minimum values are reset each time the device is turned off.
    • Press and hold for 3 seconds in order to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
  5. ON/OFF and HOLD button
    • Press the ON/OFF button to turn the thermometer on.
    • Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to turn off the thermometer.
    • HOLD: press HOLD once to keep the measured temperature.
    • Press again to stop. Safety precautions:
    • Keep the metal probe out of reach of children anddomestic animals.
    • Do not use in an oven or microwave.
    • To achieve an accurate measurement, dip the stainless steel probe at least 10mm deep into the measured substance.
    • To keep maximum battery longevity, take it out in case of longer periods of not using the device.
    Power supply
    • 1 x 1,55V LR44 Alkaline Battery included (non-rechargeable)
    Battery installation
    • Turn the battery cover on the back of the device to remove it.
    Cleaning
    • Clean the thermometer using cloth or sponge and soap, then dry.
