Should normal conditions of use of your TISSOT watch fail to be restored by repairs, TISSOT SA guarantees its replacement by a TISSOT watch of identical or similar characteristics. The warranty for the replacement watch ends twenty-four (24) months after the date of purchase of the replaced watch.

THE T-TOUCH CONNECT SOLAR MAY INTERFERE WITH PACEMAKERS, DEFIBRILLATORS AND OTHER MEDICAL DEVICES. KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE BETWEEN YOUR MEDICAL DEVICE AND THE T-TOUCH CONNECT SOLAR AND ITS ACCESSORIES. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR SURGEON OR DOCTOR FOR MORE PRECISE INFORMATION ON ANY POSSIBLE INTERFERENCE WITH YOUR MEDICAL DEVICE. STOP USING YOUR T- TOUCH CONNECT SOLAR OR ITS CHARGER IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT INTERFERENCE WITH YOUR PACEMAKER, DEFIBRILLATOR OR ANY OTHER MEDICAL DEVICE.
The T-Touch Connect Solar shall not be used:
- as a medical device, as it is not designed for use in any medical diagnostics, for disease treatment or prevention or other medical applications;
- in situations where failure of the watch could cause death or injury;
- if it has a broken crystal, visible liquid penetration or a damaged bracelet, since this could cause injuries; or without a bracelet as it is a wristwatch and the middle corners of some cases may be sharp.
• Distraction
Using the T-Touch Connect Solar under certain circumstances may distract you
and cause dangerous situations, in particular when driving. Make sure to
comply with laws prohibiting or restricting use of mobile devices in certain
places or situations.
• Water resistance
The T-Touch Connect Solar is water resistant to 10 bar (100 m/330 ft) at 25
°C/77 °F, but it is not an instrument suitable for sports diving. Watch water
resistance is evaluated based on laboratory pressure tests simulating use by a
swimmer or diver in an immobile position at the depth corresponding to the
pressure level in question. Nonetheless, numerous aquatic activities involve a
great deal of movement and changes of environment. These differences to the
watch evaluation method may compromise or invalidate its water resistance
specifications. The water resistance of a watch cannot be permanently
guaranteed. It may be affected by ageing of gaskets or by an accidental impact
on the crown. We recommend that you have the water resistance of your T-Touch
Connect Solar tested once a year by an authorized TISSOT service centre. Never
operate the crown and/or push-pieces when the T-Touch Connect Solar is
underwater. Under no circumstances must you open the T-Touch Connect Solar
yourself; have it inspected by an authorized TISSOT service centre only. We
recommend not to wear the watch when you are in hot baths or saunas.
• Temperature and magnetic fields
The T-Touch Connect Solar, the charging cable and the wireless charger T229
comply with the applicable standards and limits in terms of surface
temperature. Even within these limits, prolonged contact with very hot
surfaces may cause injuries or discomfort. The T-Touch Connect Solar, the
wireless charger T229 and the charging cable will heat up when they are
connected to a power source. Do not allow your skin to come into prolonged
contact with the T-Touch Connect Solar, the charging cable, or the wireless
charger T229 when they are plugged in. For example, make sure you do not fall
asleep with your body touching the T-Touch Connect Solar, the charging cable
or the wireless charger T229 while these are plugged in. Do not cover any of
these components when they are connected to a power source. Be vigilant if you
have a physical condition preventing you from sensing heat on your skin
normally. Take off your T-Touch Connect Solar immediately if it starts
emitting an uncomfortable amount of heat.
The normal operating temperature range of the T-Touch Connect Solar is -5 °C to 45 °C/23 °F to 113 °F. Any factors potentially influencing the normal operating temperature must be avoided, particularly:
- wearing/storing the T-Touch Connect Solar outside of ambient temperature conditions from -5 °C to 45 °C/23 °F to 113 °F;
- exposing the T-Touch Connect Solar directly or indirectly to a heat source;
- charging the T-Touch Connect Solar using a charger not recommended by TISSOT SA. Your T-Touch Connect Solar screen will display a message to alert you in the event of any overheating.
If the T-Touch Connect Solar has a temperature in excess of its normal operating temperature range:
- if it is charging, unplug the charging cable or remove the T-Touch Connect Solar from its wireless charger T229 immediately;
- if you are wearing the T-Touch Connect Solar, remove it immediately. If the temperature does not decrease, please consult an authorized TISSOT service
Do not expose your watch to intense magnetic fields such as those generated by speakers, mobile phones, computers, refrigerators or other electromagnetic appliances.
• Shocks and impacts
Avoid thermal shocks or impacts: they may damage your T-Touch Connect Solar.
In the event of a violent impact, please have your T-Touch Connect Solar
checked by an authorized TISSOT service centre.
• Care and inspection
Clean the case and bracelet regularly with a soft cloth, to prevent any
corrosion due to sweat. Your T-Touch Connect Solar can be cleaned with a
toothbrush and soapy water, and then dried completely with a soft cloth. Do
not use cleaning fluids or corrosive products to clean your accessories.
In case of immersion in seawater, the T-Touch Connect Solar must be rinsed in
fresh water immediately, and then dried completely with a soft cloth. Avoid
direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products,
chemicals, etc., since they may damage the T-Touch Connect Solar.
If you plan not to wear your T-Touch Connect Solar for several weeks or
months, we recommend storing it on the charger in a well-ventilated location
to prevent the battery running down.
Failure to do so may result in the battery discharging completely; in this
case, the watch will switch off, the factory settings will be restored, and
your data will be lost
• After-sales service
Do not open the case of your T-Touch Connect Solar, or try to repair it
yourself, since this can damage the T-Touch Connect Solar, compromise its
water resistance, or cause injuries. If the T-Touch Connect Solar is damaged
or not working correctly, contact an authorized TISSOT service centre.
Like any precision instrument, the T-Touch Connect Solar must be serviced
regularly for optimum operation. As a general rule, we recommend that you have
your T-Touch Connect Solar inspected every 3 to 4 years by your authorized
TISSOT retailer or an authorized TISSOT service centre. However, please note
that depending on the climate and the conditions of use of the T-Touch Connect
Solar, a shorter interval may be required. To benefit from the highest
standards of service and to ensure your warranty remains in force, please
always contact an authorized TISSOT retailer or an authorized TISSOT service
centre.
• Battery replacement and disposal of the product and its battery
Battery type: Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery
Model: 2430 Coin Cell
We recommend contacting an authorized TISSOT retailer or an authorized TISSOT
service centre. They have the tooling and equipment required to undertake this
work in a professional manner. A spent battery must be changed as soon as
possible, to prevent the risks of leakage, which can damage the movement.
This symbol* indicates that this product and its battery should not be
disposed of with household waste.
It must be returned to an authorised collection point. By following this
procedure you will contribute to protecting the environment and human health.
Recycling the materials will help to conserve natural resources.
