AMP RESEARCH 79110-01A Air Tank and Compressor Relocation Brackets
Product Information
The Air Tank and compressor Relocation Brackets are designed for use with Dodge Ram Crew Cab/Regular Cab and Dodge Ram Mega Cab models from 2019 to 2023. The product consists of rear tank brackets, front tank brackets, front compressor brackets (only used on PN 79110-01A), and rear compressor brackets (only used on PN 79110-01A). The installation time for this product is estimated to be between 0.5 to 1 hour. It is recommended to seek professional installation. The tools required for installation include safety goggles, a 13mm wrench, a 13mm socket, a 5mm socket Allen, and a ratchet wrench with an extension. The product comes with a 5-Year Limited Warranty. Product Usage Instructions
Steps 1-4:Installation of PN 79109-01A & 79110-01A
(Rear Tank Bracket and Front Tank Bracket)
- Locate the Air Tank and remove the three bolts holding the tank to the frame using a 13mm socket or wrench. If there is a protruding stud from the cab floor, it needs to be trimmed off to prevent tank contact.
- Mount the Front and Rear Brackets. The Rear Bracket will re-use the hardware removed in step 1. The Front Bracket will use the provided flat-head screw (6).
- Set the tank into position and tighten the three nuts holding the tank to the relocation brackets.
- Verify that the tank is securely mounted and relocated.
Steps 5-7: Installation of PN 79110-01A
(Front Compressor Bracket and Rear Compressor Bracket)
- Locate the Compressor and remove the four bolts holding it to the frame using a 13mm socket or wrench.
- Mount the Front and Rear Brackets using the hardware removed in step 5.
- Set the Compressor into position and tighten the four nuts holding it to the relocation brackets.
- Verify that the Compressor is securely mounted and relocated.

INSTALLATION TIME
5-1 hour professional installation recommended
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Safety goggles
- 13mm wrench
- 13mm socket

INSTALLATION
- Locate the Air Tank and remove three bolts holding the tank to the frame using a 13mm socket or wrench.
- Note : If the stud is protruding from the cab floor needs to be trimmed off to prevent tank contact.
- Mount Front and Rear Brackets. The rear bracket will Re-Use hardware removed in step 1. The front bracket will use provided flat-head screw(6).
- Set the tank into position and tighten 3 nuts holding the tank to relocation brackets.
- Tank-mounted and relocated.
- Locate the Compressor and remove four bolts holding the Compressor to the frame using a 13mm socket or wrench.
- Mount the front and Rear Brackets using hardware removed from step 5.
- Set the Compressor into position and tighten 4 nuts holding the Compressor to the relocation brackets.

POWER-DEPLOYABLE RUNNING BOARD OPERATION
AMP Research PowerStep running boards automatically move when the doors are opened to assist in entering and exiting the vehicle.

Automatic power deployment:
The running boards will extend down and out when the doors are opened. -
Automatic power stow:
The running boards will return to the stowed position when the doors are closed. There will be a 2-second delay before the running boards move to the stowed position. -
Automatic stop:
If an object is in the way of the moving running board, the running board will automatically stop. To reset, clear any obstruction, then simply open and close the door to resume normal operation.
Manually set in the deployed (OUT) position for access to the roof:
The running boards can be manually set in the deployed position by firmly
holding the step down with your foot while at the same time closing the door.
To resume normal operation, open and close the door.
Maintenance
- In adverse conditions, debris such as mud, dirt, and salt may become trapped in the running board mechanism, possibly leading to unwanted noise. If this occurs, manually set the running boards to the deployed position and flush the front and rear hinge arms with a high-pressure car wash wand.
- Avoid spraying the motors directly. After washing, apply silicone spray lubricant to the hinge pivot pins.
- Do not apply silicone, wax, or protectants like Armor All® to the running board stepping surface.
Caution! Keep hands away when the running board is in motion.
5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
AMP RESEARCH warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for FIVE (5) YEARS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE, provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only. All remedies under this warranty are limited to the repair replacement of the product itself, or the repair or replacement of any component part thereof, found by the factory to be defective within the time period specified. The decision to repair or replace is wholly within the discretion of the manufacturer. This warranty specifically excludes labor. If you have a warranty claim, first you must call our factory at the number below for instructions. You must retain proof of purchase and submit a copy with any items returned for warranty work. Upon completion of warranty work, if any, we will return the repaired or replaced item or items to you freight prepaid. Damage to our products caused by accidents, fire, vandalism, negligence, is installation, misuse, Acts of God, or by defective parts not manufactured by us, is not covered under this warranty.
