INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the SB75 Smart Coach!
The SB75 is equipped with all the modern functions of a fitness bracelet (number of steps taken (pedometer), calories monitor, sleep duration, heart rate measurement, displaying new messages from the smartphone, etc.), but, in addition, it has a unique feature – measuring the ECG (electrocardiogram)!
Of course, this is not a medical device: the SB75 only measures the ECG in lead I – left / right hand. However, using innovative equipment and a unique approach, we learned how to get a lot of useful and necessary information for the SB75 user.
With the help of a high-frequency sensor (500 Hz), we obtain detailed high- resolution ECG images.
Thanks to the increased memory and a cloud-based data solution, within seconds of completing measurement, the SB75 user receives the processed results in the Canyon Life app in the form of clear graphs and values. The data obtained is the result of the use of unique mathematical algorithms for processing high- resolution ECG images. This is important because the algorithm can obtain more information from these pictures, not only the pulse.
At the moment (beginning of 2021), we have learned to decipher such important indicators of a person’s
health as his psycho-emotional and physiological state (readiness for cardio loads, stress level, etc.). In addition, the app will offer you expert advice on your workout or recovery. Also in the Canyon Life application, you can save and share the ECG result as a graphic file.
And also, for the first time in the history of Canyon, we have implemented cloud storage of the results obtained, which means that even with a change of phone, your data will be available to you and to no one else, because it is reliably protected in accordance with the rules of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
We are sure that this is just the beginning, and the functionality of this unique device is far from being exhausted – we will definitely please you with new opportunities because our developers are working on it right now!

USAGE

Make sure that your fitness band is fully charged before usage.
Charging: remove the strap of the fitness band from the side of the sensor button, as shown in the figure. Then plug the USB connector into the USB port of your computer, a wall socket adapter, or a power bank. Charging progress will be indicated on
the screen. For more efficient charging, it is advisable to use a Power Bank or wall charger produced by Canyon.

Charger requirements: 5 V/1А.
Charging time: 2-3 hours depending on the source of the charge.
Turning on: press and hold the sensor button for 3 seconds.
Turning off: press the sensor button to activate the screen, then tap it several more times to see a menu item “System”. Press and hold the button to enter the submenu. Tap until you see “Shutdown – Yes”, then press and hold the button.
Connecting to a smartphone: charge the fitness band, turn it on, activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, download and install Canyon Smart Watch application Canyon Life by scanning the QR code below. Open Canyon Life app-> ”Bluetooth Devices”-> ”Start”-> choose your watch from the devices list (SB75) -> press ”ADD DEVICE”. Use the application to apply needed settings: turn on periodic heart rate measurement, fill in your body parameters, select apps that you want to receive notifications from, etc.
Register or log in to the system to activate the ECG diagnostic functionality.

If you want to change the watch face of your smartwatch, press the current watch face for 3-5 seconds.

Press the sensor button once to go to the sports results screen: a number of steps taken ‘ estimated distance, calories burned for the current day. Similar data is stored in the smartphone.
*** for the correct calculation of these parameters, be sure to specify the correct parameters in the application settings after connecting the device (height, weight, age, etc.).
ECG
There are 2 ways to start ECG measurement.
А) Starting a measurement from the device:**

Press the sensor button to activate the screen. Then tap it a few more times to open the ECG section of the menu.
Press and hold the sensor button to start ECG measurement. After starting the function, move your finger to the ECG contact and hold it there until the measurement is completed. The measurement process is displayed on the screen with a stylized ECG  diagram.
If the measurement is successful, at the end of the measurement, the device will inform you that the result has been sent to the smartphone. In case of failure, it will display an error message.
B) Starting a measurement via the app:

Go to the Canyon Life app, select and start “ECG measurement”. On the screen, the menu for ECG measurement will be opened.
Put the watch in your hand, touch the contact for ECG measurement with the index finger of your other hand (without the watch) and hold this finger there until the end of the measurement (30-60 seconds).
The measurement process is displayed on the smartphone screen with a stylized ECG diagram.

Attention: for correct ECG measurement, make sure that in the Canyon Life application, in the device settings, the hand on which the bracelet is worn is set correctly; during the entire measurement (30-60 seconds) make sure the device fits snugly to the wrist, the finger is in continuous contact with the ECG contact, the body is in a relaxed state. In the event that violations were made during the measurement (the finger was removed from the contact / the bracelet did not fit snugly against the wrist / during the measurement there was a change in body position / the skin of the wrist or finger is too dry, etc.), the device will signal that the measurement ended with an error … In this case, the measurement must be repeated, strictly following the provisions of this manual.
Attention: The measurement results are for informational purposes only and should not be the basis for medical diagnoses.
Incorrect posture, talking, hand position, skin moisture, tightness of the bracelet on the wrist, etc., affect the measurement
accuracy.
Attention: to process ECG data and receive processed results, the smartphone must have access to the Internet.

Press and hold the sensor button to start the heart rate measurement. Wait for 10-15 seconds for the measurement to be completed. The result will be displayed on the screen and sent to the smartphone.
This function can also be launched from the application by selecting the appropriate menu item.
Notifications alerts
The device stores the last three messages received from the mobile phone.
The watch must be connected to the phone via the Canyon Life app. In the application settings, you must specify from which programs and services notifications should be shown.

Press and hold for three seconds to start the Find Phone function. The phone will ring if there is a connection.
Sleep monitoring The default sleep time is set from 22:00 to 8:00. Sleep results for the previous night will be displayed after 8:00.
The data can be synchronized with the app and you can view the detailed information and sleep analysis in the app.
Timer Press and hold for 3 seconds to enter the timer interface. Press shortly to start /stop the timer. Press and hold for three seconds to exit.
Multi-sport Press and hold the sensor button to enter the submenu and select a sport type.
Select from 4 sport types by briefly clicking the button: running, walking, climbing, or cycling.
Press and hold to start the chosen
workout. Press and hold the button for 1 second to pause the workout. Press and hold again to resume training. When paused briefly clicking the button will stop training and return you to the previous menu.

Device information
This interface displays the BT device name, the last 4 characters of the Mac address and firmware version. Press and hold to enter the Power Off menu.
Power Off
After opening the Power Off menu press briefly to switch to Yes, press and hold for three seconds to turn off your device.

The smartwatch is connected, but many of the functions are not working.| (Android only) Make sure that the smartwatch is connected to the smartphone via the Canyon Life app only, and not paired via the Android Bluetooth setting.
The smartphone constantly disconnects from the app.| You must give permission for the application to run in the background on your phone. Read the detailed instructions on the official Canyon website.
After the completion of the ECG measurement, the diagnostic decoding is missing in the application.| Make sure your smartphone is connected to the Internet; the watch is connected to the smartphone via the Canyon Life application, registration/authorization is performed in the application

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read and follow all instructions before usage of this device.

1. Protect the device from an excessive amount of water: this smartwatch is protected only from small amounts of water such as raindrops or short spills. It’s forbidden to put it under powerful jets of water, fully immerse it, or to wear it while swimming.
2. protect the device from heat: do not place heating devices near it, and do not expose to direct sunlight during hot season for a long time, do not use in the sauna.
3. Protect the device from breaking: avoid dropping the device from over 0,5m to hard surfaces.
