Important Safety Instructions

  1.  SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS– This manual contains important safety and operating instructions for car charger Model A2214.
  2.  Before using a car charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on car charger.
  3. Do not expose the charger to rain, moisture, or snow.
  4.  Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the car charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  5.  To reduce the risk of damage to the cigarette lighter connector and cord, pull by the cigarette lighter connector rather than the cord when disconnecting the charger.
  6. Make sure the cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
  7.  Do not operate charger with damaged cord or cigarette lighter connector – replace it immediately.
  8.  Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified service person.
  9.  Do not disassemble the charger; take it to a qualified service person when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
  10.  To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this risk.
  11.  To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not interconnect output terminations.
  12. CAUTION – For continued protection against the risk of fire, replace only with the same type and ratings of fuse, fuse rating 32Vdc, 7A or 63Vdc, 7A.
  13.  The maximum ambient temperature during the use of the appliance must not exceed 40°C.
