Maintaining your filters is very important to the function of your vacuum
The steps below provide instruction on how to clean and maintain your Dirt Tank and Filters
- If you are experiencing issues with reduced suction you’ll want to follow the complete list of steps before continuing > Go to No Suction
These steps are considered a part of routine maintenance

Remove & empty Dirt Tank

Release the Separator by twisting to the left to disconnect & remove
- Clean Separator of all debris
- Separator can be rinsed > Allow to completely air dry (24 – 48 hours) before reinstalling

Open the Tank Lid > Lift up on the release latch on the front
- Remove Filter and clear debris (machine should not be used without Filters installed)
- Filters can be washed in warm water with mild dish soap > Allow to completely air dry (24 – 48 hours) before reinstalling

Select models (1797, 2190 & 2692) have Post Motor Filters that should be cleaned and checked routinely
- This Filter is located below the Dirt Tank
- Filters can be washed in warm water with mild dish soap > Allow to completely air dry (24 – 48 hours) before reinstalling

For replacement Filters > Go to Parts & Supplies
