Unplug machine
-
Disconnect hose from extension wand and vacuum by pinching the release tabs on both ends of the hose

Remove floor nozzle

Check for clogs
- Run broomstick through extension wand to clear
- If hose is damaged (cracks/holes) or clog cannot be removed the hose & handle should be replaced
- Inspect floor nozzle and remove debris & clogs
- Remove foot by pressing on the green button on the top of the foot and pulling up on the handle

Reattach all parts

Inspect and clean all filters
- The post motor filter can be located inside the wheel (power switch side)
- Twist the cover counter clockwise to release
- Twist the filter counter clockwise to remove
- This filter can be washed in cool water & mild dish soap
- Allow to completely air dry (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
- Take off the dirt tank
- Lift lid and remove filter
- This filter can be washed in cool water & mild dish soap
- Allow to completely air dry (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
- Twist tank lid to unlock position to clean the cyclone and screen
- The screen on the cyclone can be removed (turn upside down to unlock for removal)
- Rinse in warm water
- Allow to completely air dry 24-48 hours) before reinstalling
- Filters should be cleaned regularly, replacements can be ordered
- Reattach all parts of dirt tank

If machine continues to have no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
