OPERATION
PAIRING THE SUBWOOFER

  1. Power-on the subwoofer by connecting it to an AC power source. The blue LED pairing indicator on the back of the unit will begin to flash slowly. Use a small pin to press the WPS auto pair button. The subwoofer will enter pairing mode and the blue LED indicator will begin to flash quickly.
  2. Power-on the ROCKBAR by connecting it to an AC power source. Press the Power/ Standby button to put the soundbar into pairing mode.
  3. Within 30 seconds, the blue LED pairing indicator on the back of the subwoofer will stop flashing and remain on. This indicates that the subwoofer has successfully paired with the ROCKBAR.
  4. The subwoofer will remember the ROCKBAR and automatically pair with it the next time it is powered-on.

The subwoofer can be paired to other soundbars in the same series, but only one at a time. To pair to another soundbar, simply repeat steps 1 – 3.

Please note: If the subwoofer is turned-on, but the ROCKBAR is in stand- by mode or is disconnected from power, after 5 minutes the blue LED pairing indicator will become solid red. This indicates that the subwoofer has entered stand-by mode. To avoid sound quality issues caused by wireless signal interference, please keep the system an appropriate distance away from other 2.4Ghz wireless devices. Maximum connection range is 33 feet (10 meters).

HDMI (ARC)

The ROCKBAR can be connected to your Nor receiver via an ARC enabled HDMI port. ARC stands for “Audio Return Channel’ and has been available on most TV’s, receivers, and soundbars since the HOMI 1.4 standard was introduced in 2009. The ARC protocol offers two-way communication between devices over a single HDMI connection. Simply put, this means that you can use the HDMI ARC port (if available) as an input and an au-dio output. Check your specific device’s manual to see if it features an HDMI ARC port.

  1. Power-on the ROCKBAR by connecting it to an AC power source. Press the Power/ Standby button on the side of the ROCKBAR and continue to press it until the LCD display shows the letters •Hcr. You can also press the INPUT button on the remote control to reach I-IDMI mode.

  2. Connect a standard HDMI cable to your sound bar and connect the other end to your N’s HDMI ARC port. Most N’s feature ARC output over only one HDMI port. This port should be labeled as HDMI ARC. If the HDMI ports aren’t clearly labeled, you can check the N manual, which should indicate which HDMI port to use and if the ARC feature needs to be manually activated.
Please note : the ROCKBAR must be plugged into an ARC enabled HDMI port. It will not work with a standard HEM port. Check your specific device’s manual to see if it features an HDMI ARC port.

  3. Set your N’s sound output to external speakers.
Please note : If you are having issues with sound output, go into your N’s audio settings and make sure to deactivate Dolby Pro-Logic, Dolby ATMOS, etc. and select PCM format.

AUX

Use the 3.5mm AUX jack to connect computers or any other external sound source with a 3.5mm output.

  1.  Power-on the ROCKBAR by connecting it to an AC power source. Press the Power/ Standby button on the side of the ROCKBAR and continue to press it until the LCD display shows the letters ‘AUX’. You can also press the INPUT button on the remote control to reach HDMI mode.

  2.  Use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect the ROCKBAR to the sound source.

  3. Playback functions (play/pause, volume, tracks) are not available in AUX mode.
Please note : you will need to adjust the device’s volume and the ROCKBAR’s volume independently.

  4. Set your TV’s sound output to external speakers.

Please note : If you are having issues with sound output, go into your N’s audio settings and make sure to deactivate Dolby Pro-Logic. Dolby ATMOS, etc. and select PCM format.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Measure the distance between the center holes on the wall brackets (fig A).
a; Mounting Instruction
Once you’ve selected your mounting location, drill two holes at the same distance as the holes on the wall brackets.

We recommend using wall anchors (fig B) or drilling into a stud. If you are using an-chors, make sure the holes are deep enough to accommodate them. When installing the screws, be sure to leave a 3.5 – 4mm gap between the wall and the screw’s head (fig C). Once the mounting screws are in place, (1) align the soundbar with the mounting screws and slide it onto the mounting screws. (2) Tug the soundbar down slightly to ensure that it is seated properly (fig D).
