AIRMATE 16 40cm Stand Fan YS40A

*Please read this instruction sheet carefully and save them for future use.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read all instructions carefully before you use the appliance.
  2. Remove the packages and ensure that the appliance is undamaged. In case of doubt do not use the fan and contact your supplier.
  3. Do not let children play with parts of the packages (such as plastic bags).
  4. Before plugging into the socket, check that if the voltage of your main supply matches the voltage marked on the rating label of the appliance.
  5. Before assembling or dismantling the fan, must be sure that the fan is unplugged.
  6. Before unplugging the power cord, turn off the switch.
  7. Do not insert any object into the guard while the fan is operating. IT WILL CAUSE INJURY TO THE PERSON.
  8. The fan shall be used for temperate climates, do not use the fan at the high humidity area or dusty area. Do not use the fan where acid or alkali is stored.
  9. Do not hang any clothes on the fan guards.
  10. Do not use the fan outdoors.
  11. Do not continue to blow the baby or the patient directly for a long time.
  12. The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without
  13. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  14. ASSEMBLY METHOD

  • Please assemble correctly according to the following sequence.
  • Please keep the original packaging for future storage.

Assemble Base Plate

  1. Loosen anticlockwise and remove Triangle Screw from stand tube.
  2. Insert the stand tube into the base. plate.
  3. Secure the stand tube onto the base plate with the triangle screw provided.Tighten firmly.

Assemble Pedestal

  1. Loosen the fixed screw at the back of the upper fan body and place over the stand tube with power cord to the rear, and tighten the fixing screw firmly to secure the join.
  2. Loosen the fixed screw at the stand tube, adjust the height adjustment tube to the desired height and re-tighten it.

Assemble Rear Guard

  1. Remove the blade cap by turning clockwise and remove the guard lock nut by turning anticlockwise
  2. Install the rear guard by positioning onto the three pins on the front motor cover.
  3. Secure the guard lock nut in place by turning it clockwise.

Actemble Fan Blade

  1. Insert the fan blade onto the motor shaft and align with pin.
  2. Fit the blade cap onto the motor shaft by turning anticlockwise and Fix it tightly.

Assemble Front Guard

  1. At the bottom of the guard, the ring loosens the clip screw and keeps it safe.
  2. Open the locking clip.
  3. Align the front and rear guard correctly.
  4. Postion the top clip on the front guard with the top pad of the rear guard.
  5. Firmly press the guard ring onto the rear guard clicking in place all round.
  6. Close the locking clip, replace and lighten the clip screw with a screwdriver.

How to Remove the Front Guard

  1. First, loosen the clip screw and keep safe and open locking clip.
  2. Twist&separate the rear guard from the guard ring, starling at the bottom, then the side.
  3. Lift away the front guard from top clip.

SPEED
This fan has 3 speed as below:

OSCILLATION
a. Press the knob down to make the oscillate.
b.Pull it up to stop the oscillation.

Tilt Adjustment
The stand fans incorporate an angular tilt facility which can be adjusted by a control knob located on the fan pedestal under­neath the motor housing. Loosen the control knob in an anticlock­wise direction, then make the desired tilt adjustment, then lighten the control knob.

Height Adjustment

  1. Loosen the stand shaft lock knob
  2. Adjust the height and tighten the lock knob again

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Please check household voltage to ensure it matches the fan’s rated specification before using.
  • Please check if the power cord&plug damaged before using.
  • Please do not bend or pull the power cord to avoid poor contact.
  • Please turn off the power supply before unplugging.
  • Please do not unplug the unit from the power supply with your wet hand, then you are likely to get an electronic shock.
  • Do not hang any clothes on the fan guard.
  • Incomplete assembly is not allowed to use.
  • Away from curtains blinds.

MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the appliance from the mains power supply before cleaning
  • Oil stain on the fan must be cleaned out to avoid discolor, damage
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Store each part as per the original packing order.
  • This device only need a general cleaning&maintenance
  • Wipe the fan with detergent, then wipe it out with a clean soft cloth.
  • Avoid spraying water onto the fan body.
  • Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan to avoid discoloration and damage to fan quality.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Inspection

The fan blade does not rotate when turned on.|

  • Check if the supply cord is properly connected to the supply.
  • Check the fan guard and the fan blade if it is touching or hitting each other.

There is an abnormal sound when starting the fan.|

  • Check the fan blade is properly attached to the rotor shaft with respect to the rotor pin.
  • Check if there are burrs or damage on the fan blade causing it to touch or hit the fan guard.
  • Check if the fan guards are deformed or touching the fan blade.

Warming. Repair should be done by authorized service personnel only. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid hazards.
