Ceiling Light Flush Mount

CAUTION
CAUTION – Risk of Fire. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure the
correct branch circuit conductor. min 90°C supply conductors. Turn off the
main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture in order to
prevent possible shock.
GENERAL
All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National
Electrical Code (N.E.C.) standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper
electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a qualified electrician.
Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure that no
parts are missing by referencing the illustrations on the installation
instructions.
ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
- Turn off the power.
- Remove the four decorative nuts (13) from the metal ring (12). Remove the metal ring (12) and acrylic lens (11) from the fixture pan (9).
- Pull the supply wires (4 & 6) and house ground wire (2) out from the outlet box (1).
- Position your fixture at the desired location. Be sure the fixture wires (3, 5, & 8) can reach the outlet box (1). Mark the location of the four keyhole slots located on the fixture pan (9). Be sure to mark only the narrow parts of the keyhole slots. Remove the fixture pan (9) from the ceiling. Drill the four holes using the appropriately sized drill bit. Insert the provided ceiling anchors (14) into the holes. Screw the anchor screws (10) halfway into the ceiling anchors (14).
- Attach the lanyard (16) on the fixture pan (9) to the outlet box (1) using a lanyard screw (15). Connect the supply ground wire (2) to the fixture ground wire (3) using wire connector (7). Connect the white supply wire (4) to the white (or ribbed) fixture wire (5) using a wire connector (7). Connect black supply wire (6) to the black (or smooth) fixture wire (8) using a wire connector (7). Carefully tuck all wires back into the outlet box (1).
- Place the fixture pan (9) over the anchor screws (10), lining them up with large openings of the keyhole slots. Push the fixture pan (9) flush against the ceiling. Then twist the fixture pan (9) so that the anchor screws (10) slide into the narrow opening of the keyhole slots. Tighten the four anchor screws (10) until the fixture pan (9) is flush with the ceiling.
- Place the acrylic lens (11) over the fixture pan (9). Place the metal ring (12) over the acrylic lens (11) lining up the holes with the fixture pan (9) posts and securing it with the four decorative nuts (13).
