Product Overview and Functions
- Wi-Fi is built into the bulb; no hub is required.
- Readily use the ColorBulb anywhere at home (i.e. table and floor amps, ceding fans, and much more.)
- Choose multiple colors or white.
- Compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
- Full-Color Spectrum, 2700K-6500K White 800 lumens.
Setting Up The Tzumi Smart Home APP
- Have your Wi-Fi network and password readily available.
- Ensure that your mobile device is running on Android Version 4/ iOS 8 or higher.
- Make sure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Download the Tzumi Smart Home APP from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Once the account is set up, or if you already have an account, log in to your account.
- Choose the lamp, light socket, etc. where you want to install the ColorBulb; make sure the surface is clean and free of any oil or liquids.
- Screw the ColorBulb firmly into the light socket.

Scan the code to download the latest version of “Tzumi Smart
Home” or search “Tzumi Smart Home” in the APP store.
Adding the ColorBulb to the Tzumi Smart Home App
Method 1 (EZ Setup)
Step 1: Once you are logged in the Tzumi Smart Home app click on the (+)
sign in the top right corner.
Step 2: Turn On the light and ensure that the light is blinking quickly.
That indicates it’s ready to connect. If not, turn the ColorBulb off and on
three times until it flashes. Press “Next Step.”
Step 3: Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Step 4: The Tzumi Smart Home app will try to connect to your device.
(Make sure that your phone and device are as close to your router as possible)
NOTE: THE TZUMI SMART HOME APP CANNOT CONNECT TO 5 GHZ NETWORKS. IF THE
CONNECTION FAILS, TRY CONNECTING THROUGH AP MODE.
Method 2 (Manual AP)
Step 1: Make sure that the device is in AP mode and is blinking slowly.
Step 2: In the Smart Aura LED app on the top corner of the device click
(+) choose “AP Mode.”
Step 3: Click Next and enter Wi-Fi details.
Step 4: The Tzumi Smart Home app will try to connect to your device.

How to control the ColorBulb
- Once connected click on the name you have given your ColorBulb.
- On the main menu choose from different modes of lighting i.e.night, reading, cocktail, leisure, etc.
- You can also choose from different color modes at the bottom of the screen.
- A rainbow sphere will appear with an array of colors simply slide left or right to choose your favorite color.
- You can also select the intensity and brightness of light from the bottom of the screen.
- Under schedule, you can set up different days of the week to use Smart Mode and schedule times for the light(s) to turn on and off
How to Group several Devices Together
You can also group devices on the Tzumi Smart Home APP. follow these steps to group several devices together.
- From your main device click on one of the devices, you want to group.
- Press the edit button on the top right corner for advanced settings.
- Click on Create Group.
- Choose which devices you would like to group together and click save.
Using the ColorBulb with the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa
You can control the ColorBulb with your voice with the Google Assistant or
Amazon Alexa smart voice control devices.
Voice control is only available in English at this time.
Requirements:
- Make sure the ColorBulb is on and/or screwed in properly
- The ColorBulb is active in the Tzumi Smart Home App
- The Google Home app or Amazon Alexa is installed on your smart device and you have an active account
- A device with the Google assistant (i.e. Google Home, Google Home Mini) or an Alexa enabled device (i.e. Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show)
Control the ColorBulb with the Google Assistant
Open the Google Home app
- Say “OK Google, talk to Tzumi Smart” the Google Assistant will initiate the Google Action for the ColorBulb
- Follow the instructions on the Google Home app to link the Tzumi Smart Action
- You are now ready to control the ColorBulb with simple voice commands
- Try these:
• “OK Google, turn the ColorBulb on” — the smart strip will turn ON
• OK Google, turn the ColorBulb off” — the smart strip will turn OFF
• OK Google, set the ColorBulb to 50%” — the smart strip will dim to 50%
• OK Google, change the ColorBulb color to purple” — the smart strip will turn purple
Control the ColorBulb with Amazon Alexa
- Open the Amazon Alexa app on your smart device and select’ Skills’ from the options menu
- Once you are on the ‘Skills’ page, search for ‘Tzumi Smart’ and tap ‘Enable’
- Use your Tzumi Smart Home APP credentials to log in to give Alexa access to control the ColorBulb
- You are now ready to control the ColorBulb with simple voice commands.
- Try these:
• ” Alexa, turn the ColorBulb on” — the smart strip will turn ON
• “Alexa, turn the ColorBulb off” —the smart strip will turn OFF
• “Alexa, set the ColorBulb to 50%” — the smart strip will dim to 50%
• Alexa, change the ColorBulb color to purple” — the smart strip will turn purple
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO SOFTWARE CHANGES, SOME OF THE INSTRUCTIONS OR
COMMANDS MAY CHANGE AND NO LONGER WORK. TO SEE AN UP-TO-DATE LIST, GO TO THE
TZUMI SMART APP, TAP ON ‘ME’, AND TAP ON ‘MORE SERVICES’. YOU CAN CHECK
INSTRUCTIONS AND A FULL LIST OF AVAILABLE COMMANDS.
These are just some examples of how to control the ColorBulb.
Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant can control the ColorBulb when referring to
it by its name, group, or location, you can name it any name you want, create
a group or associate it with a location and control all lights of that group
or location together.

Can I share access to the ColorBulb with family and friends?
Your family and friends can have access to control the ColorBulb LED light. In the Tzumi Smart Home APP, press the profile button and click on the “Device Sharing,” button and you will be able to give or revoke sharing permissions. In order to qualify, the other user should already have downloaded the Tzumi Smart Home APR -
How many devices can I control?
The Tzumi Smart Home APP can control an unlimited number of devices in an unlimited amount of locations. Please note that your router may have a limit on how many devices can be connected to one router. -
The device appears offline or unreachable what can I do?
Make sure that your Wi-Fi router is online and in range. Ensure that you have the latest version of the Tzumi Smart Home APP by clicking “Check for firmware update” in your device settings. -
What’s the wireless range?
The Wi-Fi range depends on your home router and the conditions of the room, check your router for the exact data range. -
How can I reset the device and what does the blinking light mean?
There are two methods for re-setting the ColorBulb.
A. Reset once (off and on 3 times) to reach Easy Mode, which is the primary way to connect to the APR (In Easy Mode you’ll see the bulb flashing quickly 2x per second).
B. Reset again (off and on 3 times) to reach AP Mode, which is the Backup Mode to help connect. (When in AP Mode, you’ll see the bulb blinking slowly, every 3 seconds).

Important Safety Information
Before you install this light bulb read and follow all precautions:
CAUTION: Use in a dry location only- Risk of electric shock or burns Do not
install this device with wet hands or while standing on damp and wet surfaces.
Suitable for use in operating environment between -10 C and 40 C (-4 F and 107
F) Not for use in totally enclosed lamps. Do not use with dimmers.
Ensure that the voltage of the LED lightbulb is compatible with the main
electricity of your country before connecting to a bulb holder. Ensure that
the base of the bulb matches the bulb holder.
[When the lightbulb reaches the end of its cycle the bulb should be replaced.
