CARGO CARRIER BAG
WARNINGS
Read the manual carefully before the installation or use of this product. The warnings cautions and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors that cannot be built into the product and are the responsibility of the end-user.
This expandable cargo bag is designed to mount to an existing hitch-mounted cargo carrier. Lashing straps hold the cargo storage bag to the cargo carrier.
If the cargo carrier or contents being transported are in line with the exhaust outlet, an exhaust tip must be used to redirect the exhaust flow away from the cargo platform or contents.
When traveling, periodically check straps to ensure the load is securely held. Any excess webbing should be tucked away and tied off to prevent flapping while driving.
After removing contents from the cargo storage bag, remove the unit from the cargo carrier and store it for safekeeping. Do not leave empty cargo storage bags on the vehicle.
Do not exceed the cargo carriers rated load capacity.
ASSEMBLY
Step 1 Spread out the cargo storage bag onto the cargo carrier so that
the bag opens to the rear.
Step 2 Unzip the cargo bag and begin loading, placing the larger, heavier
objects in first. Continue to load the bag, placing smaller, lighter items on
the top to create a compact load.
Step 3 Close the zipper, making sure the flap is pulled down to
completely cover the entire zipper. Seal the bag with the provided hook and
loop closures.
Step 4 Attach the long end of the lashing straps to the buckles on the
top of the cargo bag, as shown in Figure 1.
Step 5 Attach the short ends of lashing straps to the cargo carrier, as
shown in Figure 2.
Step 6 Take up slack in straps until the cargo bag is securely attached
to the cargo carrier.
MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that the general condition of any cargo bag be examined before it is used. Keep the cargo bag in good repair. Have necessary repairs made by qualified service personnel.
