SMART PHONE USAGE SETUP

Pull tripod legs apart to open/close tripod
Press red button to rotate tripod mount
Thread phone holder onto tripod base
Extend phone holder to fit your device
Release holder to secure phone
Attach LED light to top of phone holder with shoe mount
Tighten knurled knob on light mount to secure
Attach microphone to light using shoe mount
Tighten knurled knob on microphone to secure
Set microphone switch up to smart phone
Plug 3.5mm cord into device’s headphone jack*

SMART PHONE USAGE SETUP

MIRRORLESS DSLR CAMERA USAGE SETUP

Pull tripod legs apart to open/close tripod
Press red button to rotate tripod mount
Tighten knob on tripod to bottom of DSLR
Slide LED shoe mount onto DSLR mount
Tighten knurled knob on light to secure
Attach microphone to top of light using shoe mount
Tighten knurled knob on microphone to secure
Set microphone switch down to DSLR
Plug 3.5mm cord into DSLR audio jack

BATTERIES & CHARGING

Plug USB end of the included charge cord into any USB to household adapter or USB device with charging capability.
Plug the other end into the included LED video light. Full charge can take up to 2 hours if the light is fully drained.
Slide the battery cover on top of the microphone back and insert the included AAA battery. Replace cover.
Slide the battery cover on the bottom of the Bluetooth shutter release back and insert the included CR2032 button battery. The + sign should be facing up and visible. Replace cover by sliding the tab in, pressing down on the cover and then sliding shut.

OPERATION

The included tripod can be used in either pistol grip mode, or tripod mode.

For pistol grip mode, collapse the legs on the tripod to form a pistol grip hanld. This feature will help stabilize the video.
For tripod mode, separate the two smaller tripod legs and unfold, and set on flat surface.
Rotate tripod up to 120º by pressing the red buttons on both sides and tilting to desired position.
For landscape position, thread the included cell phone holder using the bottom threads onto the top of the table top tripod by turning the knurled knob under the tripod platform clockwise.
For portrait position, thread the cell phone holder using the thread on the back of the holder. Push the red buttons on the side of the tripod and rotate the tripod platform between the 2 short tripod legs until the platform is perpendicular to the surface.

SHOTGUN MICROPHONE

For cell phone: Plug the 3.5 mm microphone plug on the microphone directly into the headphone/charge jack on your cell phone when possible or using a 3.5 to Lightning/ USB-C adapter (not included). Push the switch on the microphone to the up/cell phone icon position. The cell phone should detect the microphone and begin recording.

Repeat above steps but push the switch on the side of the microphone to the
down/camera icon position.

This is a unidirectional microphone. It is designed to pick up and improve voices directly in front of the microphone and block out ambient noise. This feature can be particularly helpful when recording in noisy venues.

LED VIDEO LIGHT

LED VIDEO LIGHT
Press and hold the LED light On/Off switch for 3 seconds to turn on/off.

There are 3 brightness settings (1/3, 1/2, full). Press the On/Off switch to cycle through the three brightness levels. A fully charged light should illuminate at full power for 60 minutes (longer at lower power settings). After 60 minutes, the light will gradually dim.

To charge light, plug USB cord into any USB-to-household adapter. Full charge time is up to 2 hours.
