This manual contains important safety, assembly, operation and maintenance information. Please read and fully understand this manual before operation.
Save this manual for future reference.

Always wear an approved helmet and safety equipment when using this product.

WARNING TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY:

  • The user must be 3+ years. Not for children with a body mass of more than 44 lb (20 kg). Protective equipment should be worn.
  • Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates, and sudden surface changes. A scooter may suddenly stop. Watch out for pedestrians.
  • Check and secure all fasteners before every ride.
  • Avoid excessive speed associated with downhill rides.
  • THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT HAVE A BRAKE.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS:

  • It is the responsibility of the adult to educate the child and determine if they are capable of operating the vehicle safely.
  • Before using the vehicle the child must understand the controls and safety issues. They must also demonstrate the capability and skill to handle the vehicle and operate its controls to avoid falls or collisions.
  • After complete assembly, remove and dispose of all protective material and poly bags. Keep poly bags away from children. Be sure to remove all packaging materials and parts from underneath the vehicle body.
  • Ensure the child uses common sense and safe practices when using the vehicle.
  • An adult must unfold and fold this product (as equipped).
  • At the end of useful product life, dispose of according to local practice and requirements.

OPERATING THE SCOOTER:

RIDING: The scooter is operated by placing both hands firmly on Handlebar, one foot on the deck, and pushing with the other foot.
STEERING: To steer the scooter, turn the handlebar while leaning slightly into the turn.
BRAKING: Use the foot used to propel the scooter to stop the scooter.

** WARNING:**

  • Always wear shoes when riding the scooter.

Safety and Warning Information

This product, like all wheeled vehicles, will provide safe, enjoyable transportation and recreation when used and maintained properly. Like bicycling, skateboarding, and in-line
skating, riding this product can be dangerous even under the best of circumstances. We do not want you to get hurt. Please follow these safety rules. Keep children away during assembly.

  • CHOKING HAZARD: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Contains small parts.
  • Keep small loose parts and plastic bags out of the reach of children.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years as foam pieces may break off and pose a choking hazard. Keep small children away when assembling.
  • Never use near motor vehicles.
  • Never ride with more than one person. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous or unstable condition.

Protective Equipment must be worn: Always wear safety equipment such as a helmet that meets CPSC (or equivalent standard for your country) with chinstrap securely fas­tened, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, gloves, and shoes.

  • Replace worn or broken parts immediately with genuine replacement parts.
  • Handlebar hand grip or tube end plugs should be replaced if damaged as bare tubes have been known to cause injury. All products with capped handlebar ends should be checked regularly to ensure that adequate protection for the ends of the handlebars is in place.
  • Self-locking nuts and other self-locking fixings may lose their effectiveness when re-used.
  • The toy shall be used with caution, since it requires great skill, so as to avoid falls or colli­sions causing injury to the user and third parties.
  • Ensure all locking devices are engaged before each ride.

ALWAYS WEAR YOUR HELMET WHEN RIDING THIS PRODUCT!
Always read the user manual that comes with your helmet to make sure it is fitted and attached properly to the wearer’s head according to the fitting instructions described in the user manual.

Assembly

STEPS:

  1. Turn Fork A so that Square Cutout B is facing BACKWARDS.
    NOTE: Make sure Fork Collar C is in place as shown.

  2. Slide Fender D fully down on Fork.

  3. Insert Fork Assembly UP into Frame so that Square Cutout B extends past top of Fram

STEPS:

  1. Install Headset Locking Collar A down onto Fork Tube B .
    NOTE: Make sure round Hole C in Collar and Fork Tube B are facing FORWARD.

  2. Push Locking Collar DOWN until Tab E SNAPS into Square Hole D – Gently pull UP on Collar A to ensure it is locked into position.

STEPS:

  1. Slide locking collar Cap A up onto Handlebar past Locking Button B . – Push Locking Button IN as needed.

  2. Insert Handlebar down into Locking Collar C until Locking Button B SNAPS into place D .
    NOTE: Check that Handlebar is locked in place by gently pulling up . It should not pull out .

  3.  Slide Cap A down onto Locking Collar and tighten firmly HandTight

STEPS:

  1. Insert the Hand Grip Posts A into the Handlebar Top.
  2. Ensure the lock buttons B on each Hand Grip Post are fully engaged with the Locking Hole Stops C on each side of the Handlebar Post.

** WARNING:** Failure to lock the Handlebar securely can result in serious injury to a child.

STEPS:
Ensure Spacers are FULLY inserted!

  1. Insert Axle A fully into one Wheel B while pushing IN on Locking Tab C – until Wheel locks into place. Test by pulling gently out on Wheel.
  2. Insert the Axle/Wheel assembly through Rear Frame D.
  3. Insert other Wheel fully onto Axle while pushing IN on Locking Tab C – until Wheel locks into place. Test by pulling gently out on Wheel.

Accessories (various models)

ATTACH AS EQUIPPED:

  • Attach Handlebar Pad A (if equipped) to Handlebar by opening and placing straight down over handlebar and using Hook & Loop Straps to secure. Fasten securely.
  • Attached is Handlebar Bag B (if equipped) by securing bag straps around Handlebar/Pad. Fasten securely. Bag Weight Limit: 5 lb (2.3 kg)
  • Insert both Streamers C (if equipped) into ends of grips as shown, fully and securely.
  • Position Bell D (if equipped) for easy reach and attach with a supplied screw.
  • Attach Plaque E (if equipped) using screws supplied. Attach so that Plaque does not interfere with hands-on grips.

Maintenance

LED lights are not on all models

NOTES:

  • Remove Pull-Tab A to activate the Light and Sound unit.
  • Sounds and LED Lights on both sides and front of the Scooter will activate through vibration while riding

Battery Replacement (3 AAA):

  1. Loosen the battery compartment cover Screw and remove Cover B.
  2. Insert Batteries C in the orientation shown inside the compartment.
  3. Re-install the compartment cover and tighten the screws.

** WARNING:**

  • Battery replacement is to be conducted by an adult.
  • Dispose of batteries properly. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak. Check local regulations for proper battery disposal.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
  • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
  • Keep the unit from getting wet.
  • The battery supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the unit before being charged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

TO CHANGE BATTERIES:

  1. Remove Axle Bolt A and Washer and Nut B.

  2. Remove Wheel.

  3. Remove LED End Cap C from Fork.

  4. Turn End Cap C upside down and tap to remove Light Assembly D.

  5. Pull Battery Sleeve E out sideways.

  6. Remove old batteries F and replace them with 3 new LR41 Batteries in the same orientation.

  7. Reinsert Batteries/Sleeve into Light Assembly as shown.

  8. Re-insert Light Assembly fully into End Cap so that it fits even with supports inside End Cap (shown).

  9. Make sure Lip of the holder fits all the way into the End Cap!

  10. Install End Cap onto Fork so that Axle Holes line up.
    NOTE: If Axle Holes do not line up, recheck that Light Assembly D is fully seated in End Cap – do not force.

  11. Repeat the process for the End Cap on the opposite side if needed.

  12. Reinstall Axle Bolt and Wheel.

  13. Install Washer and Axle Nut firmly and completely A-B – see torque table for recommended torque

  14. Check that Wheel spins evenly and freely.

The scooter should be checked periodically for any loose, broken, or worn parts. Tighten parts that are loose, and replace any worn or broken parts immediately. Periodic cleaning will prolong the useful life of this scooter.

SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS:
With repeated use, Self-Locking Fasteners may lose their ability to lock to the threads and may come loose. Frequently check Self-Locking Fasteners and replace when worn.

INSPECTION OF THE BEARINGS:
Frequently check the wheel bearings of the product. Replace the wheels when the bearings do not pass the following tests: Lift each end of the product off the ground and spin the raised wheel by hand:

  • The wheel should spin freely and easily.
  • There should be no side-to-side movement at the wheel edge when pushed to the side with light force.

WEEKLY SERVICE:
Apply a few drops of general-purpose oil to the sides of each wheel axle. Verify that the axle fasteners are tight.

Torque Table – Recommended Torque:

Use of a torque wrench is recommended. Recommended torque for each fastener is listed below. In addition to tightening to the recommended torque, please ensure the parts of the product are suffi ciently tightened by performing the functional tests (in the component assembly sections of the owner’s manual) on each component as it is
tightened.

NOTE: Please check that all fasteners on the  product are torqued according to the table below:

The only uses for this product are described in this manual . Warranty registration is not required . The Limited Warranty extends only to the original consumer and is not transferable to anyone else.

This Limited Warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for all parts of the product except those indicated below as not warranted.

  • Product is completely and correctly assembled.
  • Product is used under normal conditions for its intended purpose (see the following section for excluded activities).
  • Product receives all necessary maintenance and adjustments.
  • Product is used for general transportation and recreational use only.

What is not covered by this Limited Warranty?
This product is designed for recreational use only . This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, normal maintenance items, or any damage, failure, or loss that is caused by improper assembly, maintenance, adjustment, storage, or use of the product. This Limited Warranty does not extend to future performance.

This Limited Warranty will be void if the product is ever:

  • Used in any competitive sport
  • Used for stunt riding, jumping, aerobatics, or similar activity
  • Modifi ed in any way
  • Modified with the addition of a motor
  • Ridden by more than one person at a time
  • Rented, sold, or given away
  • Used in a manner contrary to the instructions and warnings in this Owner’s Manual

What will The Manufacturer do?
Manufacturer’s sole and exclusive obligation under this Limited Warranty is to repair and/or replace, at its sole option, any covered defect in workmanship or materials.
