HABYS Massage Stones Set with Heater
Product Information
The massage stones are made of basalt, which is a type of stone commonly used in hot stone therapy. Basalt stones have a smooth surface and unique warm- holding properties due to their lack of pores. These stones are effective in treating vascular diseases, improving blood circulation, relaxing muscles, and improving mood. The high amount of rust in basalt helps speed up the treatment process.

Product Warranty Information
The warranty period for the massage stones is 24 months. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage. If the equipment is repaired outside of an authorized service center, the warranty is voided. For more information, please refer to the original warranty document provided by HABYS Sp. z o.o.
Application
Basalt is the most common type of stone used in hot stone therapy. Free from pores, with a smooth surface, it has unique holding warm properties. The high amount of rust in basalt accelerates the treatment of vascular diseases blood vessels, has a relaxing effect on the muscular and mood improvement.

Contraindications
Hot stone therapy is not recommended for people whose skin does not tolerate heat, with very sensitive skin, with damaged nerves, especially sensitive to stimuli tactile. The same health, safety and ethics guidelines should be followed, as in case of other massage methods however, that they appear additional effects of the treatment related to the heat emitted by the stones. Keep special care during making massage of people with increased pressure and having circulation problems. It should be remembered that the temperature of the stones should be properly selected.
Preparation of stones
- Wash all stones before first use and each treatment.
- The stones before its treatment should be placed in the special stone heater following heater instruction. Most heaters warm up to desired temperature for about 30-45 minutes.
- The stones should have approximately teperature 47-50 °C (116 -122 °F).
Stone cleaning
- After each treatment, rinse the stones under running cold water, then you should wash them with warm water and soap and disinfect them with an antibacterial agent.
- After each day of using the stones, place them in a container for about 20 minutes in water with sea salt additive.
- Dry the stones and grease them with natural oil such as olive oil.
- Clean and store in a container intended for this purpose.
Useful tips
- Always use stones that are slightly damp and well-greased (but not dripping with oil).
- Make sure the patient’s skin is well lubricated.
- Avoid hitting the stone against the stone.
- To remove stones from the heater tank, metal tools should be avoided (noise disturbs the patient’s relaxation).
- After each treatment, you should always wash the stones and hands thoroughly.
After therapy recommendantions
- Drink plenty of water.
- Follow a light, healthy diet.
- Heat therapy and hot baths should be avoided immediately after the treatment.
- Provide rest to the body.
- The therapy should be used regularly.
Warranty

For the purposes hereof:
- „Seller” shall mean HABYS Sp. z o.o. located in Jasło, Poland, at 16 Produkcyjna Street.
- „Purchaser” shall mean the final Purchaser of the equipment.
- „Authorised Service” shall mean the service maintained by the Seller.

The Seller shall ensure good quality and operation of the equipment for which the guarantee card has been issued for the period stated in the card.

Guaranteed repair shall not cover activities provided for in the instruction manual which should be performed by the Purchaser themself.

The guarantee shall not cover: damages to the equipment resulting from inappropriate usage or usage incompliant with the instruction manual, maintenance instructions, transportation instructions or additionally, any mechanical damages; colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to sunlight; impact of chemicals or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution and accidental puncture, the presence of spots or rings on the oily or colouring substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils); permanent staining of some colouring agents, such as: ink, permanent markers or other non-colorfast dyes used in the production of clothing (for example: blue jeans).

The Purchaser shall lose their guarantee rights if: the Seller discovers that during the guarantee period, the equipment was repaired outside the authorised service; any design modifications were introduced thereto without the Seller’s consent; the equipment was still used following the disclosure of
a constructional defect. -
In cases provided for in point 5, irrespective of the loss of guarantee rights, HABYS Sp. z o.o. shall not be responsible for any damage to property or person which might be caused by operation of such equipment.

Defects or damages to the structure of the equipment resulting from the equipment itself, disclosed during the guarantee period, shall be removed free of charge within 14 days of submission of the equipment to the Seller or authorised service. Costs of transportation shall be borne by the Purchaser, if complaint is justified.

In order to enjoy guarantee rights, it shall be necessary to fulfill the following four conditions jointly:
- Production of an invoice or other proof of equipment purchase by the Purchaser;
- Reporting the fault within 14 days of disclosure thereof;
- Sending back the damaged equipment in an original packaging.

The guarantee period shall be extended by the guarantee repair time, counted from the date of delivering the equipment to the Seller or authorised service to the day on which the equipment is made available to the Purchaser to recover.

Identification of the manner and necessary scope of the repair shall be the responsibility of the Seller or authorised service.

The Purchaser shall be entitled to, at their discretion, the right to claim equipment replacement or reimbursement of the price paid if:
- The Seller has not enabled the Purchaser to recover the equipment repaired within 14 days of the Purchaser’s delivering the equipment to the Seller or authorised service.
- Within the guarantee period, four repairs have been made and the equipment still reveals defects making it impossible to operate it in compliance with its destination.

Equipment replacement or reimbursement of the price paid shall require the Seller’s consent each time.

The Seller shall not undertake responsibility for damages to the equipment aroused during transportation by a forwarding company. It is the Purchaser’s obligation to inspect the technical condition of the equipment upon the reception thereof.

If transportation was commissioned by the Seller and the goods have been demaged, the Purchaser is obligated to:
- let the Seller know in 3 day time from the date of delivery about any demages of equipment, which happened during transportation in order to enable the Seller to file a complaint with the forwarding company.
- provide the Seller protocol of complaint which is written between the Purchaser and transportation company.

Terms of guarantee contained herein shall be the sole and original terms of guarantee for Habys products.

The warranty period is 24 months.
