Wall mount template
BE-MLFM
Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any
damage.
Warning: Improper installation can result in serious personal injury or
TV damage. If necessary, seek the assistance of a professional.
Tools needed
OPTION 1: WOOD STUD WALL

Minimum wood stud size:
Common 2 × 4 in. (51 × 102 mm) nominal 1 ½ × 3 ½ in. (38 × 89 mm). -
Minimum horizontal spacing between fasteners cannot be less than 16 in. (406 mm).
The distance between wood studs is 16 in.
Measure the distance between the two studs you plan to use for the wall mount.
Locate the center of one of the studs with a stud finder. Align the center of
the template at the height determined in Step 4 in the User Guide. Make sure
that it is level, then tape it to the wall.
On the template, locate the correct mounting holes based on the distance
between the studs (16 in.).
Drill four pilot holes through the template 2.4 in. (60 mm) deep using a 3/16
in. (5 mm) drill bit, then remove the template.
With the arrow on the wall plate pointing up, align the plate with the pilot holes, then insert the lag bolts through the washers and wall plate holes. Make sure that the wall plate is level, then tighten the lag bolts.
OPTION 2: SOLID CONCRETE OR CONCRETE BLOCK WALL
CAUTION: To prevent property damage or personal injury, never drill into
the mortar between blocks. Mount the wall plate directly onto the concrete
surface.
Align the center of the template at the height determined in Step 4 of the
User Guide. Make sure that it is level, then tape it to the wall.
Drill four pilot holes through the template 2.4 in. (60 mm) deep using a 3/8
in. (10 mm) masonry drill bit, then remove the template.
Insert the concrete anchors into the holes and use a hammer to make sure that
the anchors are flush with the surface.
With the arrow on the wall plate pointing up, align the plate with the anchors, then insert the lag bolts through the washers and wall plate holes and into the anchors. Make sure that the wall plate is level, then tighten the lag bolts.
