ROBOTDAMMSUGARE APP
Using the mobile app
Note
The contents of this document will not be updated regularly to reflect
software updates to the app or other developments. Unless otherwise specified,
this document is intended solely as a guide to using the app. All the
statements, information and recommendations herein shall not constitute any
express or implied warranty.
Overview
This document mainly instructs first-time users about how to use this software
and what precautions they should take. Test and service environment The app
will run on devices with Android 4.0/iOS 7.0 and above.The app can be
downloaded and installed by scanning the QR code or by searching for the app
on Google Play or the Apple App tore. App file name: TUYA Smart. Install the
app according to the normal procedure, and the matching icon should appear in
the application list.
Preparation
Reset WiFi.
Press the button and the ring indicator will light up; press and hold the and
buttons for more than 3 seconds, and the yellow light will flash slowly.

2. Open the “Setting” interface on the mobile and enter the WLAN (Wireless
Local Area Network) setting to connect to your home WiFi network.
(Make sure the mobile phone and device always use the same WLAN).
3. Find the app in the application list first, then click to open it.
Registration and login
Registration
When you open the application you’ll see the following screen. Click “Login”
if you have a registered account number (telephone number or email address).
Then add your password in order to log in. You can also create a new account
by clicking “Register” if you do not have an account number.
If you haven’t registered yet, click “Register”. Then click “Agree”.
Add your telephone number or email address on the screen shown below and click
on “Get Verification Code”.
Enter the verification code you received.
1.2 Login
Enter the password you want to set to complete registration, then click
“Done”.
If you want to use an existing account, just click “Log in with Existing
Account” and you will see the screen below. Enter your account name and
password to log in. If you have forgotten your password you can click on
“Forgot Password” to find your password.
If you click “Forgot Password”, you will see the screen below, and be asked to
enter your account number.
Enter the verification code you received.
Enter the password you want to set.
Create family
Click “Me”, then click “Home Management”.
Click “Create a home”.
Create your family name and type it in.
Click “Set”. Drag to the correct location, then confirm by clicking “OK” in
the top right corner. Then go back to the previous page and click “Save”.
Click “Done”.
Add device
Click “Home”, then click “Add Device”.
Select “Small Home Ap…”, and click “Robot Vacuum”.
Press and hold the Recharge button and the On/ Off button for 3 seconds until
the robot beeps, and when the yellow indicator on the robot vacuum flashes
slowly, enter the home WiFi name and password in the app and click “Next”.
Note: The WiFi network only supports 2.4 GHz.
Click in the top right corner to select “AP Mode”, follow the prompts, then
select “Confirm indicator slowly blink”, and click “Next”.
Click “Go to Connect”.
Select the WiFi hotspot transmitted by the robot vacuum in the list, and go
back after the hotspot connection is successful.
Wait for the mobile to connect to the robot vacuum.
When network pairing is successful, click “Done”.
Using the control interface
Note that when the robot is used for the first time it does not have any map to work from. When it is used for the first time the robot scans the floor layout and creates a map which is then used during future cleaning to set up limits, area cleaning, etc.
Enter the control interface as shown below.
The default mode is auto clean mode. Click “Auto clean”, to tell the robot
vacuum to start/ pause cleaning.
Click “Area Clean” below, then “Add area” on the map. “Add area” on the map.
Draw the desired area on the map, then click the ON button. The robot vacuum
will start zoned cleaning.
Click “Spot clean”, select a point on the map, then click “On”, and the robot
vacuum will start cleaning at this fixed point.
In the auto clean interface, click “Set virtual wall”, then click “Add area”
to save and add the restricted zone to the map, and the robot vacuum will then
avoid the restricted zone
during cleaning.
Click the icon in the top right corner to enter the device information
interface.
Click “Device Sharing” to enter the following interface.
Click “Add Sharing” and enter the user account to share the robot vacuum with
your family.
Remove device: Click “Cancel” below to unpair the robot vacuum and clear the data.
Setting up
Click the icon in the top right corner to enter the following interface.
Find robot: Click “Find robot” for confirmation, and the robot vacuum will
play a tune.
Remote control: Click “Remote Control” or the manual button in the cleaning
interface to enter the remote control interface, and command the sweeping
robot to move forward, turn left/ right, etc.
Click the button to the right of the “Do not disturb switch” to turn “Do not
disturb” mode on or off. While “Do not disturb” mode is turned on, it will not
give a voice roadcast actively, and the breakpoint continued sweeping will
not be performed.
Reset map: Click “Reset Map” to clear the current map for the robot vacuum.
Note that all information about prohibited areas and cleaning areas will be
lost if the map is reset.
Cleaning history: Click “Record” to view the cleaning statistics and cleaning
history of the robot vacuum.
Scheduled cleaning: Click “Add Schedule” to set the Date, Repeat, etc., and
click “Save” to add the schedule. The robot vacuum will start the scheduled
cleaning task at the set time.
Duration of consumables: Click “Side Brush/ Main Brush/Filter”, and click
“Confirm” in the pop-up box to reset consumables.
Click “Vacuum mode” to switch between the different vacuum modes. Click
“Complete” to finish setting up. The vacuum modes are: Quiet, Strong and
Standard.
For more information: Click “More Info” to view information about the robot
vacuum, such as Mac Address, WiFi name, WiFi IP address, MCU version, firmware
version, SN and UUID.
