DANGERS
Discontinue use if this product appears any damage. Do not touch any parts of
it in case of getting an electric shock;
Do not stick any object into the product and keep this product in a safe
environment;
Keep the device away from the eyes. The goggles can’t prevent melanin from
absorbing the light energy if operating around the eyes. High frequency
flashes may cause harm to your eyes, please wear the goggles during each
treatment;
We recommend that you ask for assistance if back hair removal is needed to
avoid any risks;
Before treatment, the skin should be shaved to ensure the best experience.
Using this product on hair longer than 1mm may result in burns and redness in
skin. Burnt hair will also stick onto the treatment surface which will cause
unpleasant smell;
Before treatment, the skin should be dry and clean. It may cause abnormal
pulse light otherwise;
Keep this product away from children due to lack of data on product use in
children under 15 years old;
Adjust the energy level based on your needs of hair removal in different parts
of your body. Starting from the low energy level and increase the level based
on your personal needs and skin tolerance.

Keep your device away from water or liquids!
Do not use near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
Children must not play with the device or any of its parts.
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Do not use any antiperspirants or deodorants right after hair removal on your
armpits.
Clean the foreign objects and stains in the treatment surface regularly to
prevent product failure and light output damage.
Do not use this product if the vent is blocked, it may cause product failure
or fire otherwise.
Do not use this device on clothes, hair on your head or other objects to
prevent burning, discoloration, and damage.
Do not use this device on pets.
Never use around or near the eyes. This may cause eye damage.
Always clean the residual hair or skin care product on the treatment surface
before use each time to prevent product failure or skin damage.
Keep this device and its adapter in a dry environment.
You must decide which energy level is right for your skin Please start fromm
level 1 (the lowest) if it’ s your first time using this device.
It is common to experience minor burns and redness in the skin. Reduce
discomfort by using cooling mode on affected area.
We recommend that you ask for assistance if back hair removal is needed to
avoid any risks.
Never leave the device unattended when plugged into an outlet. Always switch
the device off when you are not using it.
Before treatment, the skin should be shaved, clean, dry and free of oily
stains.
Please switch off the device and leave it for at least 2 hours if the room
temperature difference is over 20 degrees Celsius (using this device in a low
temperature environment and then in high temperature environment and vice
versa.)
Do not use this device near flammables and explosives such as sprays and gas
stations. It might cause risks of electrocution and fire.
The suitable temperature for using this device is from 5°C to 40°C. Please
check the room temperature before using.
Do not expose treated areas to the sun within 48 hours after treatment.
Do not press the treatment surface against any black object to prevent damages
to both the object and the device.
Do not leave this device in direct sunlight or an UV light for a long time.
Do not use if the cooling fan is not working (the fan doesn’ t make noise) to
prevent product failure.
The device can only be used with the attached power supply unit.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by professionals from the
manufacturer, its maintenance department or similar departments in order to
avoid danger.

Do not use if:
- You are pregnant or nursing, on your period, have keloidal scar formation, diabetes, or a known sensitivity to light (photosensitivity);
- You have severe heart disease, moderate to severe hypertension, malignant tumor, folliculitis, infectious skin disease, burned skin, or anticoagulation disorder ;
- You have abnormal collagen metabolism including history of keloidal scar formation or poor wound healing;
- You have vascular disease such as varicosity and vascular ectasias;
- Your skin is sensitive to light;
- You have herpes simplex, skin lesions, hematoma and such diseases, do not use in infected areas;
- You have Immunosuppression (including HIV, lupus erythematosus, and porphyria);
- You have hemorrhage or are currently or have recently been treated with Accutane {isotretinoin}, Alpha Hydroxi Acids (AHAs), BetaHydroxi Acids (BHAs), topical retinoids or azelaic acid;
- You have used any hair removal cream within the past 30 days or any skin whitening product or cosmetics containing Vitamin A in the past week,
- You have applied products containing essential oil. Please make sure your skin is clean, dry, and free from any lotion, lubricants, and other cosmetics.
- You have recently been treated with Aspirin, immunosuppressive agents, or Accutane {isotretinoin). You have recently been treated with photosensitive drugs such as tetracycline, sulfanilamide;
- You were exposed to strong sunlight, please wait until your skin is repaired;
- Do not use on sensitive parts such as mucosa. Do not use on areas with unhealed wounds or if you have polytrichia or abnormal skin conditions caused by polytrichia. by(Please consult your physician before use if necessary)

Before your first treatment
- Before treating an area, the skin should be shave, clean, dry and free of any objects containing oil. (Such as toner and lotion)
- Make sure the treatment surface is free of dust, stuck hair, stains, and damages. Clean the treatment surface if it appears stained to prevent product failure and skin damage.
- Do a spot test. If you do not experience abnormal discomfort after two hours, you can start your treatment.
Energy level setting
This product is designed for home use, so the intensity of the light pulse will be lighter. JOVS Venus Hpro provides you with 6 different energy levels. You can adjust the energy level that works the best based on your skin color and hair type. Follow the skin color chart below to determine the right energy level for your skin color.

Note: it is recommended that you save this manual for future reference. -
Use a lower energy level if you experience any discomfort. People with darker skin tone may experience allergy due to dark skin will absorb more light energy. We recommend that you use lower energy level if you have naturally dark skin. You might feel a mild sensation of warmth and burn, but you should not feel pain.

Note: Your skin might make dissimilar responses depending on the time
length/occasion of lighting due to varying kinds of reasons.
Spot test
Always do a spot test before you treat a specific part of you body if you have recently get tanned or it’ s your first time using this product. A spot test checks that the skin color is suitable for treatment, and that you knew which energy level is comfortable for the area you are treating.
- Test on a surrounding spot near the area you are about to treat Note: Do not spot test on sensitive spot.
- Make sure the energy level is the lowest (level 1).
- Place the treatment surface to the skin. Make sure the treatment surface is in full contact with the skin.
- Press the control button to deliver light pulses.
- Glide to the next area you are treating.
- Continue testing at increased energy levels and move on to the next treated area.
- Check with your skin 2 hours after the spot test. If you do not experience abnormal discomfort (redness, blisters, etc.}, you are ready to use this device. ) ° .

Tips for different parts of hair removal

Armpits
• Before treatment, the skin should be clean and free of any perfume, antiperspirants or deodorants, or lotion.
• Make sure that the skin is spread evenly and smoothly before apply the treatment surface to the skin. It is common to experience some mild burns. -
Bikini lines
• Use lower energy level on areas where pigment accumulates or with darker skin tone. Start with level 1 before your skin gets used to it. -
Arms and legs
• You may feel more pain in areas that are uneven or near your bones. -
Do not use on these parts of the body:
• Areas with burn injury, darker skin tone, around your eyes, frostbites, large freckles, tattoos. On eyebrows, hair on your head and your temples.
• Avoid further exposure to the sun for 48 hours after your treatment. We dor’ t advise it, but if you have to go out in the sun after a treatment, be sure to apply sunscreen.
Do not expose your eyes to pulse light.
Directions for Use
How to use the Auto-flash Mode

Wet the head of the razor with water, Use a razor to shave the hair off the
target skin area and cleanse the target skin area properly.

Plug this device into a socket and a light loop would appear on the top of
this device.

Turn the 0 knob on the top to get started. It is advised to choose a level
through comparison with the skin tone card. Level 1 is recommended for first-
timers. The higher a level, the better the result – to the extent that no harm
is done on the skin.

Choose an appropriate mode in tune with your target body part and employ a
desirable optical filter (whose suitable mode is marked by a small icon).
Note: When using this device without any optical filter, you can use the
relevant touch
control to activate the Cooling Mode to synchronize hair removal with cooling
for the sake of a lesser sense of skin burn.

Wear protective goggles and point the lighting head at the target skin area
both closely and vertically. Press down the Lighting button to start the hair
removal. This device will not give out light as soon as its lighting head
fails to get in touch
with the target skin area (press and hold the Lighting button for three
seconds, or touch the icon for Auto-flash Mode to enable this device to slide
while giving out flashing light).
How to use the SR Mode:

Switch to SR mode, the indicator light will be on.

Choose a desirable SR red-color optical filter and point the lighting head at
the target skin area both closely and vertically so as to give out light.
Follow Step 05 in “How to use the Auto-flash Mode” for repetition.
Note: when using the SR Mode immediately after the hair removal, it is advised to choose the intensity of light not higher than Level 2. For day-to-day skincare, you can choose a level in line with the tolerance of your skin.
(Regardless of whichever mode it has been set into, this device will be
switched off automatically five minutes after being left untended. When set
into a working mode, this device will likewise be switched off automatically
after having operated for 30 consecutive minutes. After this device is
switched off, its fan will keep running for 30 extra seconds for heat
dissipation. Do not unplug this device before its fan stops running as such
fanning helps prolong the service life of this device.)
After treatment
- We recommend that you avoid water 6 hours after your treatment. You can put on some toner to keep the treated areas hydrated afterwards.
- Do not use perfume, facial masks, or body scrub.
- Avoid strong exposure to the sun 24 hours after treatment. Apply sunscreen if necessary.
- Do not use any artificial tanning machines during your treatments.
- Consult your physician if you need to have plastic surgery on treated areas.
- Consult your physician if you experience any discomfort.

- The efficiency of hair removal varies from person to person according to body area, hair color and how the device is used.
Cleaning and maintenance
It is important to clean your device after each treatment to maintain its best performance.
- Check the device. Especially the treatment surface and the device body. Make sure the device is clean and in place.
- Do not clean the device with running water or put it in a dish washer.
- Never use a steel wire ball, abrasive fluids (such as toothpaste), or other corrosive liquor (such as gasoline and acetone) to clean the device.
- Stop using the product if it’ s impossible to clean the treatment surface.
- Switch off and unplug the device. The treatment surface will generate heat, so clean the device after it’ s cooled down.
- Wipe the surface of the device with a clean cloth if necessary.
- Damp the cloth with some water and clean the treatment surface and the cooling surface with the cloth.
Help protect the environment. Do not dispose with household waste and be sure to send it to designated recycling collection point.
- Note: if water doesn’t work well, use a few drops of alcohol (less than 96% alcohol by volume} to clean the surfaces.
