DIGITAL LOCK LH5000F Digital Door Lock User Manual

Safety cautions

CAUTION

Since the product is keyless door lock a part of door lock may need to be damaged in case of malfunction, It needs to be familiar with how to use manual closing and opening device in case of emergency.

1. Voltage: DC6V
2. Be cautious that reverse installation of batteries causes liquid leakage or a burst
3. When battery is flat, replace all batteries and DO NOT use used batteries with new one.
4. Sensor operation temperature dissolve: 60 °C (±10 °C)

1. Master Mode

Set in Master Mode

⊡ Setting master control number :
Inputting master code is required when change password or register/delete cards/remotes.

1. Press “Input button11 in the indoor body.
2. Press “O” and 11#11 in order.
3. Register new a new master control password. (3~19digits)
4. Press “*” 11 button to complete.
   ※ In the state of Master mode, it always make two short beep sound whenever 11lnput button11 is pressed.

Registering/Changing User Password in Master Mode

A. Registering User Password

1. Press 11lnput button11 in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Enter the Master control password and “*” button.
3. Register User password and “*” button to complete.

B. Changing User Password

※ Change password in the same way as above.
※ When registering new password, previous password is automatically deleted.

Caution
※ Make sure that a door keeps being open when registering/changing password.
※ Default factor; password is set to “1234”. Please upalite the password after installation.
※ To go to tt1e next stage, perform it before tile lamp turns off (within 15 seconds).

Registering/Deleting User Card in Master Mode

A. Registering Card

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Enter the Master control password and “*” button.
3. Contact each Smart card to be registered to the external input part in the outdoor body. Up to 50 Cards can be registered.
4. Press “*” button to complete.

B. Deleting Card

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Enter the Master control password and “* ” button.
3. Press “0” button two times and “*” button to complete.

Caution

※ If deleting Card/ key tag, all registered Carcass/ Key tags will be deleted.
It is requires to register new Cards/key tags after deletion.
※For card/key tag model, please use anal register only card/key tag provided by us.
※We are not liable for any security insolent if user uses otl1er cards or tags (Such as traffic card, cerci card, etc) rattler than dedicated card / key tag.

Registering/Deleting Remote in Master Mode

A. Registering Remote

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Enter the Master control password and “*” button.
3. Press the one of two buttons on the Remote. Up to 15 Remotes can be registered.
4. Press “*” button to complete.

B. Deleting Remote

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Enter the Master control password and “*” button.
3. Press “5” button two times and “*” button to complete.

※ Remote control can be registered up to 15ea.
※Door is closed or opened within 2~3 seconds after pressing the button.
※Caution
If deleting remote, all registered remote Will be deleted .
It is requires to register nev,1 remotes after deletion.

Registering/Deleting Fingerprint in Master Mode

A. Registration

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Enter the Master control password and “*” button.
3. Push the scanner cover to left side and input a fingerprint to be registered on the scanner primarily until first “beep” sound and take off.
4. Re-input the same fingerprint on the scanner secondarily until second “beep, beep11 sound and take off.
5. Lastly re-put the same finger again thirdly until 11ding-dong-dang11 sound to inform successful registration.
6. Press “*” button to complete registration.
   (“Ding dong” sound when successfully registered, three short “beep” sounds when failed)

B. Deleting

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Enter the Master control password and “*” button.
3. Press “O”, “1” and “*” button in order to complete deletion.

※ Caution

– Keep the finger placing on the scanner until it makes sounds.
-When failed to register, start from the first step again.
– Up to 200 fingerprints can be registered.

※ Notice

– The fingerprints of infants in the developmental stage or some users with unique fingerprints {those which cannot be registered) may not be recognized.
– Scanning foreign substance (sweat and moisture)-stained fingerprints or dry fingerprints may lead to failure to recognize fingerprints.
– Stay clean the fingerprint input unit so it is not stained with foreign substances and do not use a wet finger.
– If fingerprint recognition is not successful, input and use the fingerprints of another finger.
– Registered fingerprints may be also registered in a duplicate manner.

2. Revert to Non-Master mode from Master mode

No need to input master password when change/password or register/delete cards/remotes.

1. Press “Input button11 in the indoor body.
2. Input the registered master control password.
3. Press ” ”, “O”, “#”, “O”, “O”, ” ” button in order to complete.

Remark: In the state of Non-Master Mode, it always make one short beep sound whenever “Input button” is pressed.

Registering/Changing User Password in Non-Master Mode

A. Setting User-password

1. Open the battery cover in the indoor body.
2. Press “Input button”. ( one short beep sound)
3. Input the new password. Up to 4 to 19 digits can be registered.
4. Press “*” button to complete the registration. “Ding-dong” sound will occur to inform you of successful input.

B. Changing User-password

※ Change password in the same way as above.
※ When registering new password, previous password is automatically deleted.

Registering/Deleting User card in Non-Master Mode

A. Registering User Smart card

1. Open the battery cover in the indoor body.
2. Press “Input button”. (one short beep sound)
3. Contact each Smart card to be registered to the external input part. Up to 1 to 50 keys can be registered.
4. Press”*” button to complete the registration.

B. Deleting User Smart card

1. Open the battery cover in the indoor body and press “input button” one time.(one beep short sound)
2. Press “0” button two times in the number pad in the outdoor body.
3. Press “*” button to complete the deletion.

※ Caution : when with Smart card is deleted. existing registered Smart card are completely deleted. Then newly register Smart card to be used.

Registering/Deleting Remote in Non-Master Mode

A. Registration

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (one short beep sound)
2. Press the one of two buttons on the Remote. Up to 15 Remotes can be registered.
3. Press “* ” button to complete.

B. Delete

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (one short beep sound)
2. Press “5” button two times and “*” button to complete.

Registering/Deleting Fingerprint in Non-Master Mode

A. Registration

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (one short beep sound)
2. Slide the scanner cover to left side and put a fingerprint to register on the scanner until first “beep” sound.
3. Put the same fingerprint on the scanner until second “beep, beep” sound.
4. Lastly put the same finger again until “ding-dong” sound to inform successful registration.
5. Press “*” button to complete registration.
   (“Ding dong” sound when successfully registered, three short “beep” sounds when failed)

※Caution:
– Keep the finger placing on the scanner unit it makes sounds.
– When failed to register, start form the first step again.
– Up to 200 fingerprints can be registered.

B. Delete

1. Press “Input button” in the indoor body. (two short beep sound)
2. Press “0” ,”1″ and “*” button in order to complete deletion.

3. Common Features

Door Opening

⊡ Opening from the outdoor

A. Opening the door using user password from the outdoor

1. Press more than 2 numbers on the number pad.(“Beep” sound occurs and the digit board lights on.)
2. Enter the user password and press “*” button to open a door

※ Caution: ln case five times errors of tile password, tile machine does not work for 1 min me. when the machine has not worked you should use it in one minute.

B. Opening the door using the Smart card from the outdoor (Applied model)
Contact the registered Smart card to the input part in the outdoor body.
“Ding-dong” sound will occur and the door will be opened.

C. Opening the door using Fingerprint from the outdoor (Applied model)
Place the registered fingerprint on the scanner. (“Beep” sound) & Raise down the handle to open the door

⊡ Opening from the indoor

※ RIM LOCK(LH300): Press “Open/Close button’1 to open the door
※ MAIN LOCK(LH5000F): Press “Open/Close button” to open the door or with handle down, you can open the door easily.
※ Metal Gate Lock(LH300MG): Press remote button to unlock the door. Use the mechanical key for emergency case.

Door Closing

⊡ Closing from the outdoor

※ Auto mode : Close the door, It will lock automatically.
※ Manual Mode: Touch more than 2 numbers on the number pad to close the lock.

⊡ Closing from the indoor

※ Auto mode : Close the door. It will lock automatically.
※   Manual Mode: Press “Open/Close button” to lock the door or Press remote button to lock the door.

Useful Function

⊡ Auto locking function

Manual Mode: Press “Input button” once – “#” button – “Input button”. (short one “beep” sound)
– Auto Mode: Press “Input button” once – “#” button – “Input button”. (Long “ding-dong” sound.)

※ Setting method is the same. Whenever it repeats this process, it changes from one another.
※ If the lock is set in auto mode, it locks automatically when close the door.

⊡ Auto lock time is changeable up to 2-9 seconds
Press “Input button” – “8” button – desired times (“2″~”9” buttons) – “*” button

⊡ Indoor dual lock function
If you set the indoor double locking system with the door locked, the door is not opened even though the password is entered or the key is applied from outside.

※ Setting: Press “Open/Close button” for 5 seconds. It sounds “ding-dong-dang” for success.
※  Cancellation: Main key – Raise down the handle.
Rim lock – Press “Open/Close button” to disable the function and open a door.

⊡ Outdoor dual lock function (burglar prevention through a slot)
When the external dual lock is set, the door does not open in spite of pressing “Open/Close button” from the indoor.

※ Setting: Touch the screen with fingers to light numbers on and touch “#” button for 5 seconds long. (“Ding-dong-dang” sound occurs.)
※ Cancellation: Open the door lock using password one time to disable this function.

⊡ Password Exposure-proof function
Before inputting passwords, press random digit buttons without limitation and then input the password, and the password will be concealed.

⊡Lock Error Check
When the door is not closed normally, the machine will try to open the door three times and then 11Beep11 sound will occur to inform you of an error.

※ The bolt err in the external alarm lamp lights on.

⊡ Sound Control Function (volume low — high)
Open the battery cover – Press “input button” – “1” and 113″ buttons – “ ” button – “1” button several times for small sound and “3” button several times for loud sound – “” button.

⊡ Fire Sensing Function (Built-in Fire Detection Sensor)
When the thermal detection sensor detects heat (60°C±1D°c), the door will be automatically opened.

⊡ Battery Exchange Time
If the built-in battery voltage gets downed, the lamp blinks before 7 days and a saved melody rings. You should replace all of them by new spares.

⊡ Opening the Door with 9V Spare Battery.
A. Opening the Door with the Password:

1. Contact 9V to the emergency power terminal
2. Press more than 2 numbers to light on number pad
3. Input password and Press “*” button to open the lock.

B. Opening the door with RF card

1. Contact a 9V battery to the emergency power terminal
2. Contact Smart card to the input part to open the lock

※ Make sure that battery is properly contacted with emergency socket when using this function. (External emergency power supply socket does not have polarity)
※ Location of external emergency power supply socket may differ according to the product model.

⊡ Re-set function (Function to reset program by pressing Reset button
in case of temporary error rather than product malfunction.)
※ Press Reset button using a sharp object such as ballpoint pen, toothpick, etc.
