Omni-ID E1000 Cassia BLE Gateway

Introduction

The Cassia E1000-BLE Gateway supplied with the demo kit is pre-configured to work with Omnisphere. Please Review Cassia E1000-BLE Gateway user guides for further information on setup and configuration if required. The gateway is supplied in the demo kit configured in DHCP Client mode and needs to be connected to the Network work switch via an Ethernet patch cable to provide access to the internet. Demo Kit includes Cassia E1000 (BLE Gateway) as shown below. $Omni-ID-E1000-Cassia-BLE-Gateway-fig- $1$$

To Connect To The Gateway

For firmware 1.2 or above, a Cassia Bluetooth router comes with a WiFi hotspot function. The SSID is cassia-xxxxxx (the “x’s” corresponds to the last 6 digits of the router’s MAC address). The default password of the WiFi hotspot is the same as the SSID. For example, if the Cassia Bluetooth router MAC address is “CC:1B: E0:E0:96:DC”, the SSID and its default password will be “cassia-E096DC”.

To connect to the gateway 1st time, look for Cassia XXXX in the Wireless network list, select SSID, Enter the password and connect
Default IP address is 192.168.40.1
Default username: admin
Default Password: admin
Once connected then Gateway can be accessed by entering Default IP in the Web URL. Change network settings according to LAN and connect Cassia Gateway to the Local router/gateway via ethernet under the “Basics” Tab.
