GENERAL INFORMATION and WARNINGS
- Before using your motorized cylinder, Locking way (right or left handed door) and Number of turns should be adjusted properly. Otherwise, the device will not work in the correct way and maybe broken.
- For emergency conditions, we recommend you to put the keys in an accessible place (like car, bag etc.)
- If there is any problem with the door or the locking mechanism, first of all, those problems have to be solved. The door’s mechanical parts and locking mechanism have to work properly.
- If there is a problem with the device, first look to the troubleshooting part of this manual. If you cannot solve the problem, contact your dealer.
- All the system needs to be protected from water, direct sunlight and shocks.
- Auto-rotating parts of the device can cause injuries during installation. BE CAREFUL!
- If you are leaving your home for an extended period of time, first fully charge your motorized cylinder and take your mechanical key with you. If you would leave more than 2 months, after charging your motorized cylinder, either shift the motorized cylinder to childlock mode or leave your device as it is connected to charger. Otherwise, the batteries of your product would die due to deep discharge.

Phillips head screwdriver Tape band
Coping saw (some locks may need)
Pliers (some locks may need)
INSTALLATION FOR DOOR THICKNESS 1.57” – 1.96” (40mm to 50mm) (non-Kwikset
Deadbolts)

Apply a piece of tape band to exterior unit of your existing deadbolt
-
Remove the screws of the thumbturn (interior unit)
-
Take out the thumbturn of your door
-
Take out the thumbturn of your door
-
Check and verify that chassis’s top position is same as at the photo
-
Verify that your cam bar is that the horizontal position and install chassis and screws
-
Tighten the srews of the chassis
-
Make sure that top position and cam bar position is same as at the photo
-
Insert the adaptor to Utopic Covert
-
Verify that marked points are at same position as shown at the photo
-
Insert the Utopic Conver to cam bar till the middle of the cam bar
-
Rotate Utopic Convert slightly to left and push to fit it
-
Rotate to right to complete installation
INSTALLATION FOR DOOR THICKNESS 1.37” to 1.96” (35mm to 50mm) ALL KWIKSET
DEADBOLTS
- Apply a piece of tape band to exterior unit of your existing deadbolt.
- Remove the screws of the thumbturn (interior unit).
3-4) Take out the thumbturn of your door.
5-6) Install chassis but don’t tighten the screws.
7) Insert adaptor to cam bar.
8) You will see a piece left out of the adaptor. Mark it with a pen.
- Remove the tape band.
- Remove both outside and inside units of the deadbolt.
- Cut 1 mm larger than the marked point on the interiour unit’s cam bar. Coping Saw and Pliers can be used to cut fastly.
- Install the outside unit of the deadbolt and apply a piece of tape band on
it.
- Check and verify that chassis’s top position is same as at the photo.
- Verify that your cam bar is that the horizontal position as shown at the photo and install chassis and screws.
- Tighten the screws of the chassis.
- Make sure that top position and cam bar position is same as at the photo.
17 -18) Insert the adaptor to Utopic Covert. - Verify that marked points are at same position as shown at the photo.
- Insert the Utopic Conver to cam bar till the middle of the cam bar.
- Rotate Utopic Convert slightly to left and push to fit it.
- Rotate to right to complete installation.
INSTALLATION FOR DOOR THICKNESS 1.37” (35mm) non-KWIKSET DEADBOLTS
- Apply a piece of tape band to exterior unit of your existing deadbolt.
- Remove the screws of the thumbturn (interior unit).
3-4) Take out the thumbturn of your door.
5-6) Install chassis but don’t tighten the screws. - Insert adaptor to cam bar.
- You will see a piece left out of the adaptor. Mark it with a pen.
- Remove the tape band.
- Remove both outside and inside units of the deadbolt.
- Cut 1 mm larger than the marked point on the interiour unit’s cam bar. Coping Saw and Pliers can be used to cut fastly.
- Install the outside unit of the deadbolt and apply a piece of tape band on
it.
- Check and verify that chassis’s top position is same as at the photo.
- Verify that your cam bar is that the horizontal position as shown at the photo and install chassis and screws.
- Tighten the screws of the chassis.
- Make sure that top position and cam bar position is same as at the photo.
17 -18) Insert the adaptor to Utopic Covert. - Verify that marked points are at same position as shown at the photo.
- Insert the Utopic Conver to cam bar till the middle of the cam bar.
- Rotate Utopic Convert slightly to left and push to fit it.
- Rotate to right to complete installation.
