How about the clarity of the video and how far can be seen?****
The clarity is excellent and my guess on how far it can see is about 30 or 40 yards at least. I have it pointing to where my street ends so my answer is based on that. It may go further, I don’t know.
When the camera needs to be charged, does it send you a notification? Do you need to take it down to charge it? How long does it take to charge? Do ?****
On the app for the phone there’s a battery symbol with bars on it showing you the battery life. The camera would have to be unscrewed from the Mount to charge. Normal charge time would be about 4-6 hours.
Will this work with Amazon Alexa?****
No and it also don’t work with the Fire Tablet.
Can you hook up multiple cameras?****
I do not understand the question. I have 2 video cameras hooked up at my house. One in the front and one in the back. So, yes, you can have multiple cameras hooked up.
Is camera viewing in color?****
Yes. Full color.
Can this be setup using a laptop computer rather than a smart phone?****
Not according to anything I’ve read…all seems to have to be on a mobile phone.
How do you charge it if it is in a hard to reach spot where the USB cord won’t reach?****
Unfortunately the camera must be in hand to recharge the battery. If you stream 24/7 to the cloud the battery is supposed to last about a month. But if you only set it to activate when something appears in view, and only use the app it should remain charged for about 4-6 months.
Can I use my phones hot spot for Wi-Fi?****
Yes sure.
Can anyone recommend a Solar panel that works with this camera?****
Any 5 V solar panel that works with battery camera.
