POPP SPA 525G Telephone Bluetooth Headset

Enable Bluetooth feature in Cisco SPA 525G telephone

  1. Press the [Menu] button
  2. Scroll down to [User Preferences] and press [Select]
  3. Scroll down to [Bluetooth Configuration] and press [Select]
  4. With [Bluetooth] selected, press the right arrow key until the blue check mark appears indicating that the feature is enabled
  5. Press [Set]
  6. The telephone display will go blank and a pop up screen will appear with a message stating, “Refreshing Voice Component.” The softkey functions on the telephone display will blink a few times. Once this process has finished, the telephone will be available to pair with your Bluetooth headset.

Pair Bluetooth Headset to Cisco SPA 525G telephone

  1. Press the [Menu] button
  2. Scroll down to [User Preferences] and press [Select]
  3. Scroll down to [Bluetooth Configuration] and press [Select]
  4. Scroll down to [Bluetooth Mode], press the right arrow key, and select [Both] Note: The Bluetooth Mode must be set to “Both”, or the telephone will not be able to see the Bluetooth headset.
  5. Scroll down to [Bluetooth Profiles] and press the right arrow key to enter the [Select Bluetooth Profile] screen
  6. Prepare your Bluetooth headset to start scanning. Refer to your Bluetooth headset documentation for instructions.
  7. Once you have prepared your Bluetooth headset to start scanning, press [Scan] on the Cisco SPA 525G telephone in order to scan for the Bluetooth headset. This process may take up to one minute.
  8. Once the Cisco SPA525G telephone has found the Bluetooth headset, make sure the Bluetooth headset is highlighted on the telephone display and press [Connect]
  9. Scroll down to [PIN] and enter the PIN for your Bluetooth headset. Refer to your Bluetooth headset documentation for this PIN number.
  10. Once the PIN has been entered, scroll down to [Connect Automatically], press the right arrow key, and select [On]
  11. Press [Connect] to pair the Cisco SPA525G telephone to your Bluetooth headset
