POPP SPA 525G Telephone Bluetooth Headset User Guide
Enable Bluetooth feature in Cisco SPA 525G telephone
- Press the [Menu] button
- Scroll down to [User Preferences] and press [Select]
- Scroll down to [Bluetooth Configuration] and press [Select]
- With [Bluetooth] selected, press the right arrow key until the blue check mark appears indicating that the feature is enabled
- Press [Set]
- The telephone display will go blank and a pop up screen will appear with a message stating, “Refreshing Voice Component.” The softkey functions on the telephone display will blink a few times. Once this process has finished, the telephone will be available to pair with your Bluetooth headset.
Pair Bluetooth Headset to Cisco SPA 525G telephone
- Press the [Menu] button
- Scroll down to [User Preferences] and press [Select]
- Scroll down to [Bluetooth Configuration] and press [Select]
- Scroll down to [Bluetooth Mode], press the right arrow key, and select [Both] Note: The Bluetooth Mode must be set to “Both”, or the telephone will not be able to see the Bluetooth headset.
- Scroll down to [Bluetooth Profiles] and press the right arrow key to enter the [Select Bluetooth Profile] screen
- Prepare your Bluetooth headset to start scanning. Refer to your Bluetooth headset documentation for instructions.
- Once you have prepared your Bluetooth headset to start scanning, press [Scan] on the Cisco SPA 525G telephone in order to scan for the Bluetooth headset. This process may take up to one minute.
- Once the Cisco SPA525G telephone has found the Bluetooth headset, make sure the Bluetooth headset is highlighted on the telephone display and press [Connect]
- Scroll down to [PIN] and enter the PIN for your Bluetooth headset. Refer to your Bluetooth headset documentation for this PIN number.
- Once the PIN has been entered, scroll down to [Connect Automatically], press the right arrow key, and select [On]
- Press [Connect] to pair the Cisco SPA525G telephone to your Bluetooth headset
