POP UP TENT – PT-04

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION

WARNING: Keep away from fire and overhead power lines. Keep all flame and heat sources away from this tent.

  • Be aware your tent may catch fire Do not place cooking, heating or lighting appliances near the tent.
  • Do not light a fire near the tent and be aware of the direction the wind is blowing in so that cinders or ash do not blow towards the tent.
  • Do not smoke inside your tent.
  • Carbon Monoxide can Do not store gas canisters or re-fill fuel containers inside your tent.
  • Be careful when removing your tent from its bag – It is spring loaded and will take form immediately.
  • Never let children unfold or fold this product.
  • Never use this tent as shelter during a thunderstorm.
  • Do not set up this tent under There is potential that lighting could strike or falling tree limbs in stormy weather.
  • Only use this tent on level ground, clear of any stones, branches and sharp objects.
  • Discontinue use if any part of the tent frame becomes bent or broken.
    Suitable for outdoor use only.

SETTING-UP TENT

  1. Before set up ensure you are in an open area (preferably flat) with no sharp objects that could damage the tent. You will need an area of at least 2.5m x 1.5m.
  2. Remove tent from the storage bag and locate the elastic strap holding the tent together.
  3. Release the elastic strap. Your tent will automatically open.
  4. Secure your tent using the guy ropes and metal pegs. Adjust the tension sliders to tighten the guy ropes.
  5. Open the tent door using the zip and secure it using the ties.

FOLD AWAY

To fold away follow the diagram and instructions printed on the inside of the storage bag.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always ensure your tent is stored in a dry place when not in use. Do not store when damp or wet as this may cause odours and mould growth. Always make sure the tent is dry before storing.
  • Clean your tent with water only. For persistent stains use mild soaps made for tent fabric.

GENERAL ADVICE

  • Practice pitching and dismantling your new tent before use to familiarise yourself with the design.
  • Pitch your tent on level ground where possible. If you do have to
  • pitch on a slope, locate the doorway downhill to prevent rain entering your tent.
  • To minimise internal condensation, keep the ventilation panels open where possible.
  • Children should pitch tent under adult supervision. It is recommended that you peg the tent down with a mallet so that it is secure and stable.
  • Please note and understand that no tent can be totally guaranteed 100% waterproof. Whilst the material of the tent is waterproof, certain weather conditions can cause leakage.
