SAFETY GUIDELINES
-
Do not place an infant to sleep on the mattress.
-
This is not a toy. Children must not be left unattended when using the airbed.
When not in use store away safely and securely. -
Do not use flammable liquids or sprays with the airbed, such as aerosol tire repair products, as it may ignite or explode
-
Keep away from fire
-
Use for intended purpose only: do not walk, stand on or jump on or use the airbed as a trampoline. Do not use near or on water.
-
Do not set up bed near stairs, doors, sharp edges or breakable objects.
-
Provide adequate space between bed and objects to avoid entrapment. Make Sure the area is flat, smooth, even and free of sharp objects that could puncture the bed.
-
Keep pets away from the airbed. Pets may puncture the surface of the bed.
-
Avoid sleeping on the edge of the airbed. Edges produce less support than the middle of the bed.
-
Do not operate air pump for more than 5 minutes at a time. Let pump cool at least 20 minutes between use. The air pump is designed to fully inflate your airbed within 3 minutes. The pump will automatically shut off if overheating occurs. This is designed for your safety.
-
Do not operate air pump with a damaged cord or plug.
-
Unplug electrical power cord when not in use.
-
Do not use power cord or pump with wet hands to prevent electric shock
-
Do not obstruct the air passage opening or insert any objects into the air passage opening.
-
Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Parts:

- Manual valve
- Power Cord compartment cover
- Airbed
Inflation
- Choose a flat, indoor surface large enough to accommodate the inflated airbed
- Remove any sharp or pointy objects on or near the surface
- Lay the airbed out with the bottom surface touching the floor
- Open the cover at the top of the bed where the power cord is stored
- Make sure the manual inflation valve is closed
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet
- Turn the control dial clockwise until the arrow points to INFLATE (image 1)
- The single airbed will take up to 1 .5 minutes to inflate. The queen-size airbed will take up to 3 minutes to inflate
- When the airbed is fully inflated, turn the control dial one click anti-clockwise until the arrow points to OFF (image 2)
- Lie down on the airbed to test the firmness. If too soft, repeat steps 7 – 9 as necessary
- Unplug the cord and store in the power cord compartment
Inflation Option
If electrical power is not available, then a conventional foot or manual-
operated air pump can be connected to the airbed
Deflation
- Open the cover at the top of the bed where the power cord is stored.
- Make sure the manual inflation valve is closed
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet
- Turn the control dial anti-clockwise until the arrow points to DEFLATE (image 3)
- The airbed will take up to 3 minutes to deflate
- When the airbed is fully deflated, turn the control dial one click clockwise until the arrow points to OFF
- Unplug the cord and store in the power cord compartment
STORAGE
- Deflate the airbed following the ‘deflation’ instructions.
- Make sure the airbed is clean and dry.
- Lay bed flat with sleeping surface facing upwards. Fold the airbed loosely and avoid sharp bends, corners and creases which can damage the airbed.
- Store the air bed in cool and dry location.
MAINTENANCE
- Use soapy water to clean the surface of the airbed. Do not use any chemicals.
- No air pump maintenance is required.
- To repair punctures to the airbed, use only common PVC repair glue and patches. Do not use flammable aerosols on the surface of the airbed.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- The ambient temperatures of air have an effect on the airbed internal pressure. At low ambient temperature the air will contract within the airbed and the airbed will feel softer: add air as necessary. At high ambient temperature the air within the airbed will expand significantly and the airbed will become hard and may burst: release air to avoid damage to the airbed or to soften the feel. Do not expose the airbed to extreme temperatures.
- Air inside of bed may expand and contract with varying temperatures leading to reduced pressure inside of bed. If this occurs, simply add more air issuing the pump to achieve desired firmness.
- Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl. During initial use, the airbed may become soft and require additional inflation to maintain desired firmness. This is normal for the first few days of use.
Under no circumstances will Active Era be liable for damages to the airbed caused by negligence, ordinary wear and tea, abuse and carelessness or external forces.
