INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BOTTLE WATER FILTER
A REPLACEMENT FOR.THE FOLLOWING WATER FILTER:

FILTER LIFE: 2 MONTHS OR 40 GALLONS, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST WILL VARY BASED ON WATER CONDITION
FILTER FEATURES:
- Compatible with all Brita soft bottles
- Economical alternative to expensive substitutes
- Easy installation and operation
- Provides cleaner, fresher water by reducing impurities
- Designed to provide up to 2 months of life or 40 gallons
- Does not remove minerals which may be beneficial to health
NOTE: This filter should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:
- Unscrew small white & blue push/pull cap.
- Remove the old filter.
- Ensure hands are clean and remove filter from plastic protective bag and insert into small opening of large blue cap.
- Screw small push/pull cap onto large cap to lock filter in place. Tighten firmly.
- Fill bottle with tap water to 2-3 cm below bottle rim.
- Screw large cap with filter onto bottle. Tighten firmly.
- Pull up on spout to open. Squeeze one full bottle of water through the filter to remove any black carbon dust. The system is now ready for use.
- Refill and place bottle to mouth and squeeze for greattasting water.
NOTE: Water is filtered instantly as it passes through the filter.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE:
- Replace your filter every 2 months or 40 gallons to achieve optimal performance and prevent bacteria and fungus growth in your filter.
- Keep your unused filters in a cool, dark, and dry place until you need them.

Q: Must the filter be changed on a regular basis?
A: Yes, over-used filters will degrade filtration performance. It’s
important to change your filter
Q: What is the shelf life of the filter?
A: The shelf life of an unused, packaged filter is indefinite. Filters
should be stored in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to use them.
Q: Do I need to wash filter after periods of nonuse?
A: After periods of nonuse, wash bottle and caps with warm water and mild
soap, then rinse thoroughly.
DO NOT wash filter.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of property damage due to water leakage, this filter MUST
be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and
instructions. This filter unit must be replaced every 40 gallons or 2 months.
Failure to follow instructions and operating specifications will void your
warranty. Further, manufacturer assumes no responsibility or liability for
damages arising out of misuse of the product.
