About nanoe and Double Mineral*

  • “Double mineral” means mineral ions generated by two zinc electrodes.
nanoe and Double Mineral Effect

Controls waviness by balancing hair moisture content, making hair glossy and easy to style.
In addition to making hair strong against damage from brushing etc., limits the influence of UV on hair, leading to beautiful hair.

What is nanoe mineral ion?
(nanoe™, mineral ion generation method: high voltage discharge)

nanoe™
nanoe™ is generated by collecting the available moisture in the air, so depending on the usage environment, nanoe™ may not be generated. In environments of low temperature and low humidity, moisture in the air becomes difficult to collect. When this occurs, negative ions are generated. nanoe™ is ion wrapped in water that are invisible to the human eye.

Mineral ion
Ions generated by a zinc electrode that cannot be seen by the eye.

nanoe™ Ion Charge Plus Panel

Hair is negatively charged when nanoe™ is continuously applied. Negatively charged hair repulses nanoe™, making it hard for nanoe™ to be applied to the hair.
When this occurs, simply by holding the nanoe™ ion charge plus panel together with the handle, the negative charge accumulated on hair is released.

By doing this, nanoe™ can continue to penetrate the hair, supplying moisture and moisturizing the hair thoroughly right up to the tip.

Note
Results of nanoe™, mineral ions and hot/cold alternating mode (see page 16) on hair vary according to the individual, and the following people may find it hard to experience an effect.

  • People with curly hair
  • People with strong wavy hair
  • People with smooth hair that can be easily set
  • People who have had a straightening perm within 3 to 4 months
  • People with short hair

  4. Perform step 2 and 3 to the other side of hair.

Scalp care mode (to dry your scalp gently)

Moisture remaining on the scalp surface will cause sticky discomfort.
When the room temperature is 23°C, hot air of about 50°C can dry your scalp mildly.

  1. After blow-drying your hair to 70 % dry with the HOT mode, press Temp to switch to SCALP mode.
  2. Lift up the hair with your hand to blow-dry your scalp.
  3. Press Temp to switch to HOT mode, and blow-dry all of your hair.

When you feel cold due to the low room temperature, use HOT mode to dry your scalp at a certain distance.

Hair tip care mode (to moisturize and smoothen hair ends)

  1. Set the power switch to [|] level.
  2. Press Temp to switch to , and then CARE lamp will light on.
  3. While combing the hair with you hand, use the hair dryer to blow respectively from inside to outside and from hair roots to ends to smoothen your hair.
  4. Perform step 3 to the other side of hair.

Skin care mode (to perform moisturizing care for your skin)

Since the skin is easy to dry out after bathing, you can use the air containing nanoe™ and mineral ion to increase the moisture content of your skin and moisturize it.

  1. After drying your hair, set the power switch to [Ⅰ] level.
  2. Set the TEMP switching button to COLD mode, and then the SKIN lamp will light on.

Note
Be careful of the hot air while adjusting the direction of the set nozzle.

Notice
Wave perms may temporarily become easy to stretch when you apply nanoe and mineral ion to your hair, but return to their original state when you apply water or styling agents.

Maintenance of the Hair Dryer

Note

  • Before maintaining the hair dryer, always set the power switch to [O] to turn off the power and disconnect the plug from the household outlet. (Except when cleaning the air outlet)

  • Clean the air inlet and outlet carefully at least once a month.
If foreign matter such as dust becomes attached or blocks the appliance, in addition to causing the performance to drop, it may cause the following symptoms.

    • When it is being used in HOT mode, sparks may occur inside.
These sparks are caused by the action of the protective device (thermoswitch), and this is not dangerous.

    • Hot air repeatedly turns into cold air.

    • Hot air becomes abnormally hot.

Do this about once a month or over

Maintenance of The Air Inlet

Remove dust and hair etc. from the surface and inside
Wipe to clean dust or hair from the air inlet with a tissue or toothbrush.

If dust is attached to the inside, remove it with a vacuum cleaner.

Note
Do not press or rub with your nails or sharp items. Doing so may cause the air inlet to break.

Maintaining Air Outlet

While scraping dust etc. with a cotton swab, blow it away with air

  1. Plug into the household outlet.

  2. Turn on the power switch (switch it to any position other than [O]).

  3. Press Temp to switch to COLD mode.

  4. While scraping dust and hair jammed in the mesh with a cotton swab, blow them away with air.

Note

  • When performing maintenance, do not block the air inlet with your hand.
  • Dust will disperse during or after cleaning. Before using the hair dryer, be sure to check that there is no dust. (Do not look into the air outlet)

At least once a month

  • nanoe outlet
  • Mineral ion outlet

To maintain the generation amount of nanoe™ and mineral ion, perform the cleaning operation carefully.
Gently insert the cotton swab in the nanoe™ outlet and the mineral ion outlet, push it in until it stops (about 1 cm; do not use excessive force), and then rotate the cotton swab 2-3 times gently.

  • It is easier to clean with a small tip cotton swab (for example, one intended for babies).
Maintaining the Main Body

Soak a cloth in the soapy water and squeeze it out firmly, then wipe with the cloth.

Note:

  • Do not use substances such as alcohol, nail polish remover or detergent (hand soap).
(Doing so may result in malfunction or part cracks or discoloration.)

  • Do not leave the appliance with hairdressing products or cosmetics attached on the main body.
(Doing so will cause discoloration and cracks due to deterioration of the plastic, leading to malfunctions)
