Getting started

1. Charging your ASUS Pen

2. Gently pull the USB Type-C® port cover to reveal the port.

3. Align and place the bundled USB Type-C® charging cable onto the USB Type-C® port.

4.  Connect the USB charging cable to a power source to start charging.
   NOTE: To activate your ASUS Pen, ensure to charge your ASUS Pen before using it for the first time.

5. Pairing your ASUS Pen with the Bluetooth device
   

6. Ensure the other device is Bluetooth enabled.

7. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on your ASUS Pen until the LED indicator starts blinking blue light.

8. On the other device, select “ASUS Pen” from the Bluetooth device list to start pairing.

9. The LED indicator will turn white once the pairing process is complete.
   

**Replacing the pen tip of your ASUS Pen

1. Locate the teardrop-shaped slot on the packaging tray.
2. Hold your ASUS pen vertically, then align and slide the current pen tip into the narrow slot.
3. Ensure the slot is positioned between the pen tip and the pen, then pull your ASUS pen vertically and remove the pen tip.
4. Choose the pen tip you wish to replace, then align and fit the new pen tip.

Yes, any iPad newer than 2018 but the battery life sucks. Other than that it works great but only for about three to four hours per charge

We have an iPad Pro (5th gen) and this works great. Much better design than the iPencil and almost a 3rd the cost. Very happy so far! Hope that helps.

To see how much charge is left, you have to hold the power button for 2 seconds (only 2 seconds…holding it for longer won’t do it). If it flashes green three times, it has 50% or more charge left; yellow is 25-49%; red is less than 25%.

Compatible with android?

To my knowledge it’s not compatible with android devices only apple ipads.

Is this compatible with iPad Air 3rd generation? I keep finding contradictory claims.

Can’t speak for 3rd generation, but it works fine with my iPad Air 4.

Does it attach magnetically to iPad mini 5?

It attaches to any magnetic places so if your ipad mini has a magnetic piece, the pen will attach to it.

it states compatible with ipad air 10.9 but does not specify the year 2022. it might be worth a try, you can always return it if it doesnt work
