IMPORTANT

  • The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
  • The Marking plate is located at the back of the device.
  • Make sure to have a minimum distance of 5 cm around the unit for sufficient ventilation.
  • Ensure that the ventilation openings is not covered with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
  • Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
  • Do not expose this appliance to dripping or splashing water. – Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as glass, vase on the device.
  • Do not throw batteries into fire! Respect the environment when disposing of used batteries.
  • Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or other similar heat source.
  • The power plug is used as a disconnect device and must be easily accessible. To be completely disconnected from the power, the plug of the appliance should be disconnected completely. The socket must not be obstructed and should be easily accessible during intended use.
  • Under the influence of fast transient and / or electrostatic electric phenomenon, the product may malfunction and the user must perform a power reset of the device.

REMOTE CONTROL

Installing Batteries

  1. Remove the battery cover from the back of the included remote control.
  2. Install the included batteries into the compartment, following the polarity (+/-) diagram in the compartment.
  3. Replace the battery cover.

  2. [MIC PRI] Button:Turn Mic Priority ON/OFF: Gives priority to microphone over music (mic must be plugged in)
  3. [REPEAT] Button: Repeat single track or all (USB or TF/SD card only)
  4. [ ] Button: Press: Skip to previous track/station Press + hold: Fast backward track (USB or TF/SD card only)/FM freq.
  5. [ ] Button: Play/Pause, Scan for stations (FM radio mode)

Product Overview

Getting Started

Connecting to Power

Plug the round connector of the included AC power cable into the AC power port on the back of the speaker. Plug the AC plug into a wall outlet.

Powering ON/OFF

  • Press the [Power] switch on the back of the speaker to power ON or OFF.
  • The speaker will power ON in Standby mode. Press the [STANDBY] button on the top of the speaker or the main [Power] button on the remote control to exit or enter Standby mode.

Changing Input Modes
Press the (MODE] button on the speaker or remote control to switch between input modes. The display screen on the top of the speaker will indicate the mode.

Adjusting Volume & Playback

  • Adjust overall volume with the [VOLUME] knob on the top of the speaker, the remote control buttons, or the controls on a connected device.
  • Press the  and buttons on the speaker or remote control to skip tracks or stations in Bluetooth mode, FM Radio mode. USB mode andIF card mode.
  • Press the [ ] button to pause and resume playback.

Adjusting the Sound

  • Turn the [TREBLE] knob on the speaker or the [TRE+] and [TRE-] buttons on the remote to adjust speaker treble.
  • Turn the [BASS] knob on the speaker or the [BAS+] and [BAS-] buttons on the remote to adjust speaker bass.
  • Press the [EQ/MEGA BASS] button on the speaker or remote control to switch between 6 different equalizer styles: Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Custom or Normal.
  • Press + hold the [EQ/MEGA BASS] button to turn Mega Bass ON or OFF.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Switch the speaker to Bluetooth mode.

  2. Set your mobile device to search for Bluetooth devices. When it appears, select PBT9066BK from the list of found devices.

  3. After a successful pairing, a tone will be heard and you will be able to play music on the speaker.
    In Bluetooth mode, volume & playback can be adjusted using the controls on your paired device, the speaker, or the remote control.

    • Press + hold the [MODE] button to turn Bluetooth ON or OFF.

Using the Speaker Lights

  • Press the [Lights Power] switch on the back of the speaker to turn the speaker lights ON or OFF.

Using the FM Radio
Extend the Radio Antenna on the back of the speaker. Switch to FM mode. The display screen will show the current FM frequency.
All radio functions are controlled by the buttons on the speaker or remote control.

  • Press and hold the [ ] button to start automatically scanning and saving available radio stations. If not stopped, it will make a complete scan and return to the first saved station.
  • Press the [ ] and [ ] buttons to flip through saved stations.
  • Press + hold the [ ] and [ ] buttons to manually scan forward or backward.

Using the AUX Input

Plug the left (L) and right (R) connectors of the included AUX cable into the corresponding AUX input ports on the back of the speaker. Plug the 3.5 mm connector into the headphone jack or 3.5 mm AUX output on your device.

Switch to AUX mode.
In AUX mode, all playback will be controlled by your connected device.

USB Device and TF Card Input

Insert a USB device, such as a USB flash drive, or micro SD/TF card into the USB or TF card input ports on the top of the speaker. Note: You may need to have files stored in the root folder of the device. Check your device’s manufacturer information for more details.

Switch to USB or TF mode. The speaker will begin playing music off the device.

In USB and TF mode, playback and volume adjustment will be controlled with controls on the speaker or remote control.

Using a Guitar

Plug the output connector of a guitar (not included) into the GT.IN guitar input port on the top of the speaker.

  • Turn the [GTVOL] knob on the speaker to adjust guitar volume (Note: make sure the [MICVOL] is not set to O.This will cause the [GT VOL] knob to not work.)
  • slum the [ECHO] knob on the speaker to adjust guitar echo.

Recording Sound

  1. Plug in the microphone or a guitar.
  2. Adjust the speaker sound to your liking using the speaker controls described in the Adjusting the Sound section of this manual.
  3. Insert the USB device or TF/SD card that you would like to record on into the speaker. If it’s your first time recording on this device, the system will automati-cally create a folder named “RECORD” to save the recorded files. Make sure the file system of the device is FAT32.
  4. Press the [REC] button on the remote control to begin recording. The display screen will show the recording time.
  5. When you are finished recording, press the [REC PLAY] button on the remote control to stop and play.

Warranty service not provided

This warranty is voided in the event any unauthorized person opens, alters or repairs this product. All products being retumed to the authorized service center for repair must be suitably packaged.
