Getting Started

Installing and Removing the Control Panel Box

Powering ON/OFF

  • Press + hold the camera button for 2 seconds to power ON.
  • Press + hold for 3 seconds to power OFF.
  • When powered ON, the LED indicator will begin to flash, and the selfie stick will enter Bluetooth pairing mode. It may automatically reconnect to a previously paired device.

Note: the selfie stick will automatically power OFF after 5 minutes without a Bluetooth connection.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power the selfie stick ON. The selfie stick will enter Bluetooth pairing mode, and the LED indicator will flash.
  2. Turn your device’s Bluetooth on, and search for new Bluetooth devices. Select PSS0215 when it appears on the list of found devices.
  3. After a successful pairing, the LED indicator on the selfie stick will turn OFF.

Taking a Photo

Power the control panel ON and connect to your device.
Press the camera button to take a photo. The LED indicator on the control panel will flash once.

Note: The Bluetooth® remote control is compatible with Android 4.2.2 and iPhone® iOS 5.0 or above.
For Android® devices, you may need to change your volume key function under Camera Options to the default or “Take a Picture” to make the Bluetooth remote control work.

Replacing the Control Panel Battery

  1. Remove the control panel box from the selfie light.
  2. Using the groove on the corner of the control panel box, open the box.
  3. Remove the old battery, and dispose of it according to local regulations. Do not dispose of regular household waste.
  4. Install a new CR1632 battery. Replace the control panel box cover, and install the control panel box back into the selfie light.

Note: Low battery power can cause selfie photography dysfunction. If you notice issues with the selfie stick, try replacing the battery.

Charging the Fill Light

Plug the micro-USB (smaller) connector of the included micro-USB charging cable into the micro-USB port on the fill light.

Plug the USB (larger) connector into a USB power source, such as the USB port on a computer or a 5V USB wall adapter (not included).

Charge for 3 hours before using.

Using the Fill Light

Charge the fill light before using.

  • Press the [Power] button on the fill light. The light will power ON in white light mode. Press + hold the button to increase light brightness.
  • Press the [Power] button a 2nd time to switch to warm light mode. Press + hold the button to increase light brightness.
  • Press the [Power] button a 3rd time to switch to warm white light mode. Press + hold the button to increase light brightness.
  • Press the [Power] button a 4th time to power the light OFF.

Unfolding the Tripod

To unfold and adjust the tripod, pull the legs outward where they connect to the selfie stick.

Never dispose of batteries in a fire, and never expose them to high temperatures. Do not expose the product to temperatures exceeding 60°C (140°F).
