SAFETY INFORMATION
Read this instruction manual before first use and keep it for future reference.
- Protect this device and its controller from water, humidity, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and sources of heat. Do not operate this device in rain, snow or thunderstorm nor drive on a wet surfaces.
- Do not operate this device on streets or highways.
- Follow basic safety rules while operating this device.
- Pay special attention when operating near pets, young children, the elderly, or the disabled.
- Do not run this device into furniture, objects, or hard surfaces, as this may damage both the objects and this device. Do not attempt jumps or tricks with this vehicle.
- Do not touch moving parts of the device while operating. Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the tires, gears, and motor when the device is ON.
- Warning! Choking hazard. Keep away from children under the age of 3 years due to small parts. Store small parts out of the reach of children.
- Not suitable for children under 6 years old. For children above 6 years old, adult supervision is recommended during operation.
- Do not operate the vehicles with the same frequency with another player (s) in the same location. That will interfere and make the vehicle out of control.
- Use only authorized accessories.
- Do not dispose of this product in fire.
- Avoid collision on hard surfaces.
- Keep vehicles away from sandy and dusty areas.
- IMPORTANT : Product warranty does not cover elements that are subject to natural wear out during use!
- Never try to repair this device yourself. In case of damage, contact an authorized service point for a check-up/repair.
- Clean this device with a clean, slightly damp soft cloth. Remember to turn off the device prior to cleaning.
Driving tips:
- It is recommended to play with the vehicle on a clean and smooth surface for optimum performance.
- The operating range can be affected by a variety of factors:
- low voltage of batteries in remote control or vehicle
- rusty or dirty contacts of batteries
- obstacles interference
- touching the transmitter antenna while operating the car
Notes on batteries:
- Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, rechargeable, and standard batteries. All batteries should be of the same type. The producer suggests using alkaline batteries for optimum operation.
- Note the correct polarity while inserting the batteries.
- When the device is no longer in use, switch it off. If it is not going to be used for a longer period of time remove batteries from the car and the controller.
- The control distance / maximum speed will be reduced if the batteries in the vehicle or the remote control are not fully charged.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire – risk of damage/injury!
REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Make sure the remote control is turned off.
- The battery compartment is at the bottom of the remote control. Turn the remote control upside down.
- Push down and slide the cover out of the battery compartment.
- Insert 2x AA battery with correct polarization (batteries not included).
- Replace the cover.
VEHICLE CHARGING
- Connect the vehicle’s battery to the USB charging cable and then to the compatible PC USB port or an AC adapter.
- During charging, the red LED is on.
- When the red LED goes off, it means that the battery has been fully charged. Disconnect the charging cable from the battery and the power supply.
VEHICLE BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Remove the screw from the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the vehicle and remove the cover.
- Put the battery pack into the battery compartment and connect it to the interface of the vehicle body.
- Replace the battery compartment and tighten the screw.
TRIM ADJUSTMENT
When the ON/OFF switch is set to ON position and the front tires are not straight, use the trim adjustment knob to adjust the position of the wheels.
- When the car oversteers to the left, the steering trim should be adjusted clockwise.
- When the car oversteers to the right, the steering trim should be adjusted anticlockwise.
BINDING
- Turn on the vehicle by sliding the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
- Turn on the remote control by sliding the ON/OFF switch to the ON position (binding LED indicator flash).
- When flashing LEDs turn solid, it means that binding has been completed.
TRANSFORMATION FUNCTION
When the vehicle is in the race suspension mode, press the transformation
button and the vehicle will convert to an off-road suspension mode. Press this
button again and the vehicle will return to race mode.
WARNING: Do not change the vehicle’s suspension by hand. Doing so will
cause damage to the vehicle.
REBEL SPIDER is a double-sided car. When the vehicle bumps into an obstacle
and rolls over, further drive without the user’s interference and turning the
vehicle over is still possible, whereas the principle of the forward and
backward drive is the same.
When the vehicle rolls over in the off-road mode, just press the
transformation button- the vehicle’s construction will extend what allows
further drive.
Press and hold the transformation button and the vehicle will automatically
demonstrate its functions.
