2 Charging Methods
Charge the battery first before use or storage.
Maintain the battery at 20-80% capacity when storing the battery for a long
time. Do not fully charge the battery.
Also, check the remaining battery and operation once every three months.
-
Charge this product only when the temperature is between 0 and 40°C.
Remove the AC adapter from the battery when charging is complete. -
Only can provide a MAX AC output of 500W.
-
May not operate even if the power consumption is less than 500W when multiple devices are used.
-
Compared to an in-home outlet, the devices may not operate equivalently.
-
Electromagnetic interference may occur if connected to radio, video player, or TV screen.
-
Storing the battery for a long time with 0% or more than 80% of remaining battery may not work properly when used.
PowerArQ3 cannot support parallel or series use.
1 Wall outlet charging
PowerArQ3 can be recharged from a wall outlet by using the included AC adapter, which takes about 3 to 4 hours to fully charge from a 120V wall outlet.
AC adapter Connect with [INPUT]
- Here
- As the battery nears full charge, the charging speed will slow down. Because current is suppressed to reduce the load.
- The lamp on the AC adapter will light up red during charging. If the plug is disconnected, wait about 5 seconds and reconnect it after the lamp changes to green.
- The lamp on the AC adapter will light up green when charging is complete.
- Be sure to plug it all the way seated, and use the 120V AC wall outlet alone without an extension cord or power strip when charging this product. It may not be able to charge properly due to insufficient voltage at the outlet if you use an extension cable or power strip to charge this product.
- PowerArQ3 extra battery cannot be charged from solar panels or car due to the input voltage is 25.2VDC. If transform the voltage to 25.2V, may be able to charge the battery.

- How to improve solar panel efficiency
1: Avoid installing solar panels in shaded areas.
2: Get an expert to install your solar panels. As we know the factors are
angle and sunshine.
Some of the main things to consider when installing panels are the orientation
and the angle.
For example, solar panels should sit at 75 degrees for maximum sunlight
exposure when sunlight is in the 75 degrees.
- If the voltage is within the range of 12~40V and the maximum power is less than 200W, it can work by third-party solar panels. But we’re not guarantee and guidance on how to use it.
- It’s not covered by warranty in case of malfunction by third-party solar panels.
- STSL100, STSL101 are not available.
3 Pass-through charging

5 FAQS
Q1 | What type of battery is in the PowerArQ 3?
(A) It has built-in lithium-ion battery (18650) with high safety. Lithium-ion
batteries combine a high power output with a very compact size.
Q2 | Can I charge PowerArQ 3 while supplying power at the same time?
(A) Yes, PowerArQ 3 supports pass-through charging. However, this should only
be used in emergency situations to prevent battery degradation.
Q3 | Can I take the battery into airplane?
(A) No, you cannot take it into airplane.
Q4 | What does the sine wave inverter mean?
(A) Home appliances that mainly use motors with the square wave may not work
properly. Household electrical outlets are sine wave and PowerArQ 3 is also a
sine wave type.
Q5 | Can I change wireless device(13.8V) with DC car output port?
(A) Yes, car output port support 11~14VDC.
Q6 | There are scratches on the LCD screen.
(A) A transparent screen protection sticker is attached to the LCD screen.
Please remove and recheck it.
Q7 | What should I do if the AC adapter doesn’t work?
(A) We can provide a new AC adapter within the warranty period.
Please contact our Owner’s Desk.
- Battery degradation is not covered by the warranty.
Q8 | Is the PowerArQ 3 dustproof and waterproof?
(A) Yes. However it is not completely dustproof and waterproof, but very
simple dustproof and waterproof. The international dust and water resistance
protectors rating is equivalent to IP333.
The definition of proof is as follows for you reference. Please away from fine
particles such as sand and water droplets such as rain.
- Dustproof IP3X: Cannot be penetrated by a solid object 0.09 in. (2.5mm) or more in diameter
- Waterproof IPX3: Protected from things above 2.5 mm, which includes most tools and thick wires.
*All rubber covers are in closed.
Q9 | How much capacity is 555Wh?
(A) 555Wh refers to the time. In particular it means the capacity to operate a
device with a power consumption of 555W (watts) for one hum. A device with a
power consumption of 100W can run for about 5.5 hours. (Of course, this is a
theoretical value and the actual working time will different.) The actual
working time may change depends on the power consumption, the temperature
environment, or the deterioration of the battery. More power that can be taken
out if the output H small, Has power that can be taken out if the output is
large. Also, As power that can be taken out Horn a DC is more than AC because
of the conversion efficiency.
Q10 | Can it be used for medical devices?
(A) This power station is not designed for medical devices and we cannot
guarantee the operation. Also we are not responsible for any damage caused by
the use of medical devices.
Q11 | I hear a motor noise coming from PowerArQ3 while using the AC output,
Is’t a malfunction?
(A) No, it is not a malfunction. This is the sound of the fan running to
exhaust the heat inside the product, and PowerArQ3 is operating normally.
Q12 | How long is working time?
(A) It can be calculated by the following formula:
“Working Power 555Wh x Conversion Efficiency 85% ÷ Device Consumes ? W”
e.g., Device Consumes: 50W Working Time=555×0.85÷50=9.4h ->It can be used for
about 9.4 hours.
It depends on the electronic device used. Refer to the figure below.
LED Light(5W) | About 94 hours |
---|---|
Phone(15W) | About 31 times fully charge |
Electric Fan (30W) | About 15 hours |
Electric Blanket – L(33W) | About 14 hours |
Electric Blanket – H(50W) | About 9.4 hours |
Heated Carpet(200W) | About 2.3 hours |
- This is a theoretical value for you reference.
- The actual working time may change depends on the power consumption, or the deterioration of the battery.
- It may not operate even if the output of Device Consumes is 500W or less.
- PowerArQ 3 will turn off when overloaded.
- Some home appliances, like electronic drums, require a larger peak power even if the indicated wattage is 500W or less. The protection function works and electronic drums may not work properly.

- Turn oft all switches and remove the dedicated AC adapter for storage.
- Never place the battery within reach of children. And Store in a dry and dust-free place.
- Avoid direct sunlight and store at an appropriate ambient temperature within -10° C to 45° C.
-
Daily Care
-
Do not use volatile solvents, such as gasoline, thinner, kerosene, petroleum, zippo oil, or de-lighting fluid.
-
Fully discharged state will damage the battery.
-
Check the remaining battery and operation once every three months.
• Lithium-ion battery life
-
PowerArQ 3 will turn off when overloaded. Please do not connect any electronic devices with more than 500W.
-
The battery may deteriorate, if it is stored at temperatures without -10 to 45° C.
-
Maintain the battery at 20-80% capacity when storing the battery for a long time, do not fully charge the battery.
-
If the battery is repeatedly charged and discharged 500 times, its capacity will degrade to about 85% of a new one.
This is a theoretical value, actual value is depending on actual usage and environment. e.g., If use a high power output such as 500W frequently, or store it in a high temperature environment, this may accelerate deterioration. -
Power off the powerArQ3 when it is not in use.
-
Unnecessary power consumption will shorten the battery life and decrease the working time.
-
The battery need to be charged and discharged several times to reach full capacity after prolonged storage.
