Only use this product in the manner described and for its intended purpose. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. When passing the product on to third parties, please hand over all accompanying documents as well.

Intended use
This product is a toy for children 3 years and up for private use. The combination of different colors supports the teaching of colors

Safety instructions

Important : Read these instructions for use carefully and keep them in a safe place! This equipment complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and
  2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the userÿ ‘s authority to operate the equipment.
CAUTION! Replace only with CR2025 type batteries.

  • You may not make changes or modifications to the device. No further operation of the device after any change or modification is permitted.
  • Never let children play with packaging materials unsupervised. There is a risk of suffocation.
  • Warning. Not for children under 36 months. Choking hazard. Small parts.
  • Misuse of the power supply may cause electric shock.
  • The toy generates flashes of light which can trigger epilepsy in sensitive people.
  • The packaging materials and attachments and the “SUPER DRY” pouch (desiccant) are not part of the toy and must always be removed for safety reasons before the product is given to children to play with.
  • The desiccant contains calcium chloride (CAS 10043-52-4). Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Children may only play with the product under adult supervision.
  • Check the product for damage or wear before each use. Only use the product if it is in perfect condition!
  • Use only the battery type: CR2025.
  • The light source for this light fixture is not replaceable; when the light source has reached the end of its service life, the entire light fixture must be replaced.
  • No modifications may be made to the product!

Battery warning notices

  • Warning! Batteries may not be charged or reactivated by any other means, taken apart, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.

  • Make sure to store batteries out of the reach of children.

  • Cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.

  •  Do not expose the batteries to any extreme conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight). Otherwise there is an increased risk of leakage.

  • This item contains a button cell battery. A button cell battery can cause serious internal chemical burns if swallowed.

  • Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you suspect that batteries have been swallowed, or inserted into any part of the body, consult a physician immediately.

  • The power supply used with the electric toy should be inspected regularly for damage to the power cord, plug, housing or other parts and, if damaged, should not be used until the damage is repaired.
    Danger!

  • Handle damaged or leaking batteries with extreme caution and dispose of them properly as soon as possible. Wear gloves when doing so.

  • If you come into contact with battery acid, wash the affected area with water and soap. If battery acid gets in your eye, rinse it with water and seek medical attention immediately!

  • The connection terminals must not be shortcircuited.

WARNING! Observe the following instructions to avoid mechanical and electrical damage. There is a battery in the product. You can replace the battery (2e) when it is not working anymore.

  1. To open the battery compartment (2a), press into the hole (2c) on the bottom of the remote control (2) using a suitable object (not included).
    Note : Pressing pushes the battery compartment out of the remote control a little.

  2. Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control.

  3. Remove the old battery (2e) and insert a new battery (not included in the package contents) carefully into the battery compartment. The battery must be inserted into the battery compartment completely.
    Note : Check the plus/minus poles of the battery, and insert it correctly.

  4. Insert the battery compartment into the remote control until it is completely inside the remote control.

Use
Remove the safety film (2b) from the battery compartment (2a) before using the remote control (2) (Fig. B).

  1. Plug the USB connector (1b) of the USB cable (1a) into a USB port on a powered-on computer or charging station with a USB port (Fig. A).
  2. Press the button (2f) on the remote control (2) to turn the product (1) on (Fig. C).

Turning off the product

  1. Press the button (2f) on the remote control (2) to turn the product off.
  2. Unplug the USB connector (1b) of the USB cable (1a) from the USB port on a poweredon computer or charging station with a USB port (Fig. A).

Remote control (Fig. C)
The remote control has the following buttons:

  • MODE +/- (2f): Press the buttons to change the different light modes in demo mode.
  • SPEED +/- (2g): Press the buttons to change the speed of the light mode in demo mode.
  • BRIGHT +/- (2h): Press the buttons to change the brightness of the product.
  • COLOR +/- (2i): Press the buttons to get a different color.
  • Color buttons (2j): Press the desired color button White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Turquoise or Violet.
  • DEMO (2k): Press the button to see a demonstration of the different light modes.

Game
The goal of the game is to place the different color templates (3) on the product (1) while it is turned on and observe their changes depending on the light intensity / rhythm and color combination. The understanding of numbers and colors can be combined and experienced in play using the colored numbers (4).

Storage, cleaning
When not in use, always store the product dry, clean, without batteries and at room temperature. Wipe clean with a dry cloth only.
IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents. Use the carrying strap (1c) to transport the product.

Disposal

If the product has exhausted its lifespan, in the interest of environmental protection, do not dispose of the product with household waste, but rather take it to a professional disposal facility. You can contact your local administrative authority for collection locations and their open hours. Return batteries or the product to the collection facilities offered. Packaging materials such
as plastic bags do not belong in the hands of children. Keep the packaging materials out of reach of children. Environmental damage due to improper disposal of batteries! Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They contain toxic heavy metals and must be treated as hazardous waste. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as follows: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead. As such, turn in used batteries at a local collection location.

Dispose of the product and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

Observe the labeling on the packaging materials when separating waste. These are marked with letters (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning:
1–7: Plastics/20–22: Paper and cardboard/ 80–98: Composites.

The product and the packaging materials are recyclable. Dispose of them separately for better waste handling. Your community or city administration can provide you with options for disposing of the worn-out product.

3 year limited warranty

What does this warranty cover?

The warranty covers:

  • Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
  • Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow the safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);
  • Improper use or transport;
  • Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
  • Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);
  • Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing screws etc.) Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under this warranty. However, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

What is the period of coverage and warranty resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase. At our discretion, product will either be refunded or replaced.

What will we not do?

We will not:

  • Start a new warranty period upon product exchange;
  • Repair product.

  • Retain the original receipt;
  • Follow all product instructions;
  • Do not repair or modify the product.

How does state law relate to this warranty?

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. All implied warranties are limited by the duration and terms of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
