SETTING UP THE WIRELESS HEADPHONES
Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment located on the left earpiece with the correct polarity indicated on the battery cover.
Rotate the “ON/OFF” dial and the red power light will turn on.

SETTING UP THE TRANSMITTER BASE
Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the transmitter. Note the correct polarity indicated inside the battery compartment.
Optional: Insert the optional power adapter into the 4.5V DC port on the transmitter base.

OPERATION

  1. Audio Out — Check to see if your TV has red and white (or black) Audio Out jacks or a 3.5mm headphone output. If so, connect the 3.5mm/RCA cable from the Transmitter Base to the Audio Out jack on your TV.
  2. Turn on the power on both the transmitter base and your TV.

    The infrared light on the front of the transmitter base will turn RED.
    NOTE: Make sure your TV is not on mute.

  1. Rotate the “ON/OFF” dial on the right ear to ON and the red indicator light will turn on. This dial is also the volume control when
    you continue to rotate it.

  2. Place the headphones on your head. Adjust the volume using the “ON/OFF” dial on the right ear cup. You should now be able to hear your TV on the headphones.

  3. If you do not hear your TV, press “RESET” and then “SCAN” on the right ear cup until your hear your TV.
    NOTE: The headphones also receive FM transmission using this “SCAN” function, so you may have to continue pressing scan (in some cases over 20 times) until the headphones find your TV’s signal. In high-density areas, you may have to press “RESET” and start the scan procedure again.
    Note: If you’re using the AC adapter and notice static in your audio signal, try switching to battery power. Some home AC power sources are unstable.

IMPORTANT:
The infrared transmitter base must have a direct line of sight to the headphones (you need to be able to see the red light on the base) or the signal will be disrupted.
