Introduction

SmartShare mini is an intuitive and high-efficiency 1080p wireless presentation and collaboration system that enables any meeting participant to simply share the content from their laptop, mobile phone, or tablet on the projector or large screen wirelessly, no APP required, no setup, no messy cables, just click and share. SmartShare mini supports up to 30 presenters to share their content instantly without wasting valuable meeting time.

A standard SmartShare mini is a combination of one transmitter and one receiver, the receiver is connected to a projector or display, and the transmitters are connected with  PC or any device with an HDMI jack, after connected, users click the button on the transmitter and the screen will be streaming to the display, it’s easy for other users to switch by click. You can buy an additional transmitter or receiver if needed.

Overview

  1. HDMI in: connect source devices, like computers or other devices with HDMI, the HDMI in also support 5V power in if the source devices HDMI with 5V output.
  2. Button: click to cast or click to switch to another user
  3. LED: to display different statues.
  4. Micro USB: for power supply.

Receiver Installation
1. Connect with TV or projector.

  1. Connect the RX HDMI with the big screen TV or projector’s HDMI jack.
  2. Connect the USB port of RX to the USB port of the TV through a USB cable for the power supply.
    2)Mode selection:
    The received support two modes as below, press the RX button to switch to a different model, the
    the mode will show in the middle of the RX screen.
    1)TX/Airplay/Dlna mode: for TX/iOS devices, or the devices support dlna function.

2)Miracast mode: for android phones which supports miracast mode.

3) Connect to the internet:

  • Connect the RX SSID with your smart devices, the SSID and password are shown on the left upper corner of the screen.

  • Open the browser with your phone, and input the IP address which shows on the right upper corner of the screen to enter the RX management platform.
    Remark: when connect to the router, the IP address will be updated accordingly.

  • Select the network and connect to the management platform, the RX will link to the network and show the network SSID in the middle of the screen. (to get better  performance, we recommend connecting with a 5G router)

4) AP password management:
Users can change AP passwords on the management page.
Remark: if the password is changed, the TX and RX have to pair again.

Users can change the language on the management page:
6) Screen Position
If the RX HDMI OUT size is not compatible with the display, the user can use Screen Position to adjust the zoom in and zoom out the screen.

7)Airplay mode: you can select to use streaming mode or Mira mode.
Stream from TX:
SmartShare mini TX Installation

  1. Connect the SmartShare mini TX’s HDMI to the PC HDMI port.
    Remark: if the source devices HDMI with 5V power output, then no need to connect the USB cable for power, if not, please connect the TX with PC by USB cable for power.

  2. The LED indicator of the SmartShare mini TX will turn red when it’s booting up.

  3. The LED indicator will become blue and flashing when SmartShare mini is ready to stream.

  4. Click the button to start casting, the LED indicator will become constant blue.

Streaming from smart devices:

1. iOS devices
Step 1: please make sure the RX is in TX/airplay/dlna mode:

Stpe2:

  • Search RX SSID and connect. (SSID: RXxxxxx, Password: 12345678), the SSID is shown on the left upper corner of the screen.
  • Or if the RX already connects with your network, make sure your device is in the same network as RX.
    Step 3: Stream the content from your iOS devices via Airplay.

2. Android devices
Step 1: switch the RX to miracast mode:

Step 2: make sure your android device’s Wi-Fi is available, select the miracast function of your phone and start to stream.

Remark: there are the different names on different brand phones or tablets: WIFI Display, WLAN Display, Wireless Display, Allshare Display, Allshare Cast, Wireless Display
