Battery precautions

  1. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  2. Use only alkaline AA/AAA batteries of the same or equivalent type.
  3. Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
  4. Keep batteries away from children.
  5. Dispose of exhausted batteries according to local legal requirements. Do not dispose of them by throwing them away with normal household rubbish.
  6. Avoid short-circuiting the contacts in the battery compartment and battery terminals.
  7. Remove batteries from the unit if it will not be used for a long period of time.
  8. Exhausted batteries should be removed from the battery compartment to prevent over-discharge, which can cause leakage and may cause damage to the clock.

Getting started

  1. Remove the battery door.
    Insert 2xAA size new batteries in the main unit and 2xAAA size new batteries in the sensor as indicated in the battery compartments.

  2. To pair the main unit with the sensor, press the RESET key at the back of the main unit first, and then press the RESET key inside the battery compartment of the sensor.

  3. In some cases, the main unit and the sensor will not pair immediately. You can reset the main unit and the sensor again as described in the above section. Due to the atmospheric disturbance, the best reception often occurs during nighttime.

  4. Close the battery door.

Function keys – main unit

TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING switch

  • Slide the switch to the TIME SETTING position to set the clock time.
  • Slide the switch to the ALARM SETTING position to set the alarm time.
  • Slide the switch to the NEUTRAL position to exit the setting mode and return to the normal display. + Key
  • When the setting switch is in the NEUTRAL position, press the + key to change between 12 and 24-hour display format.
  • In TIME SETTING or ALARM SETTING mode press to increase the setting value. Press and hold to speed up the setting.

  • When the setting switch is in the NEUTRAL position, press the – key to change the temperature display between °C and °F format.
  • In TIME SETTING or ALARM SETTING mode press to decrease the setting value. Press and hold to speed up the setting. ALARM ON / OFF slider
  • Shift the ALARM ON / OFF slider up to enable the alarm, the alarm time will show on the LCD display for 3 seconds.
  • Shift the ALARM ON / OFF slider down to disable the alarm. SNOOZE / LIGHT touch button
  • Tap to turn on the backlight for 10 seconds.
  • Tap to stop the alarm and activate the 5-minute snooze function. RESET key
  • Press by using a pin to reset all values to default. In case of a malfunction, the unit has to be reset. PAIR button
  • Press to receive 433 MHz signal for sensor reception. BACKLIGHT ON /OFF switch
  • Slide the switch to the ON position to enable the night light mode.
  • Slide the switch to the OFF position to disable the night light mode.

Function keys – sensor

  • °C / °F key
  • Press to switch between °C / °F display.
  • RESET key
  • Press by using a pin to reset all values to default. In case of a malfunction, the unit has to be reset.

Setting the time

  1. Slide the TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING switch to the TIME SETTING position.
  2. Press the ‘+’ or ‘-’ key to set the desired value. Press and hold the ‘+’ or ‘-’ key to speed up the setting.
  3. Slide the TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING switch to the NEUTRAL position to return the normal display and save the settings.

Setting the alarm

  1. Slide the TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING switch to the ALARM SETTING position.
  2. Press the ‘+’ or ‘-’ key to set the desired value. Press and hold the ‘+’ or ‘-’ key to speed up the setting.
  3. Slide the TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING switch to the NEUTRAL position to return the normal display and save the settings.

Using the alarm and snooze function

  1. Enable the alarm by shifting the ALARM ON / OFF slider up (so the green detail is visible). The bell icon will appear on the LCD display, and the alarm time will show on the LCD display for 3 seconds.
  2. Tap the SNOOZE / LIGHT touch button to stop the alarm and activate the snooze function. When the snooze function is activated, the bell icon will flash.
  3. To disable the alarm and snooze function, shift the ALARM ON / OFF slider down. The bell icon will disappear.

Note: When the snooze function is activated, the alarm will automatically start again after 5 minutes. The snooze function will not stop unless the ALARM ON / OFF SLIDER is shifted down.

Placing the sensor outside

  1. Place the sensor outside within a 30 meter (98ft) range of the main unit.
  2. The sensor can be placed vertically on a flat surface under a covered area which can shield it from direct sunlight or wet conditions for an accurate reading. Or it can be mounted on a wall with a screw.
  3. Extreme temperatures, placing on wet surfaces, and shock should be avoided to prevent damage.

Note:

  1. If no signal is received or the transmission is interrupted, the “- -” symbol will appear on the LCD display.
  2. Ensure that the main unit and the sensor are placed within a 30 meter (98ft) range from each other. Press the PAIR button to receive the sensor signal.
  3. If the “- -” symbol is still showing on the LCD display, please reset the main unit and then the sensor.
  4. The temperature and humidity ranges are as follows. It will display HH when the environment is higher than this range. It will display LL when the environment is lower than this range.
    • Main unit Sensor
    • Temperature    – 10 ~ 50 ºC – 20 ~ 60 ºC
    • Humidity 20 ~ 95% 20 ~ 95%

Weather forecast indicator

The built-in barometer can detect atmospheric pressure changes. Based on the data collected, it can predict the weather condition (Image 5) in the forthcoming 12 to 24 hours.

Setting the night light

  1. Slide the BACKLIGHT switch to ON position to enable the night light mode.
  2. Slide the BACKLIGHT switch to the OFF position to disable the night light mode.

Note: If this feature is used continuously, the battery life will be greatly reduced. Battery replacement When the ‘Low battery indicator is visible on the main unit, replace it with two new AA batteries at once. When the ‘Low battery indicator is visible on the sensor, replace it with two new AAA batteries at once. Press the PAIR button on the main unit to receive the sensor signal. Exposure to an electrostatic environment may cause the clock to reset. In this event please follow the instructions as described in this manual to set the clock again.

Guarantee 2-year guarantee against material and workmanship defects (except battery). The guarantee is valid in those countries where the alarm clock is officially being sold. Broken or cracked lens screens are not covered under the Guarantee.
