Installing the Batteries

One DryCaddy Disc desiccant and two AAA batteries are packaged in the small inner box. Remove the contents.| Remove lid/battery cover by turning counterclockwise.

Install batteries with the correct polarity.| Re-attach the lid to the drying unit by aligning tabs on the lid with notches on the unit. Turn clockwise to close.

Installing the Desiccant

Remove base/desiccant compartment by turning counter-clockwise.| Remove foil from DryCaddy Disc desiccant. Place in the desiccant compartment, holes up. Write today’s date on the desiccant as a reminder to replace it in one month.

Re-attach the base to the drying unit by aligning tabs on the base with notches on the unit. Turn clockwise to close.

Adding Hearing Devices

Remove lid and battery compartment sections by turning counterclockwise.| Add hearing devices to the mirrored surface. Be sure to open the battery door. You can leave the batteries inside.
Re-attach the lid to the drying unit by aligning tabs on the lid with notches on the unit. Turn clockwise to close.

Activating the UV-C Cycle

Hold the button for 5 seconds then release.| The red light will flash.

Press and release the button once more. This starts the UV-C function.| Light will slowly pulse for approximately 3-1/2 minutes then shut off automatically. The UV-C function is complete.

NOTE: The UV-C lamp may not start immediately if it has not been used for long periods of time. If the lamp does not turn on, please restart the unit.
When not in use, your devices should be kept in the DryCaddy UV appliance with the lid closed. The desiccant will continue to remove moisture from the devices.

Ending the Cycle Manually

While the UV-C lamp shuts off automatically in 3-1/2 minutes, you may want to stop the cycle before it is complete. To do so, simply press and hold the LED power light for 5 seconds. The red light will go off indicating the cycle has stopped.

  • Never operate this product if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if the batteries have corroded. Return it to the place of purchase or service center for examination and repair.
  • Never store batteries in a loose container where they can risk touching other items.
  • Never place the product on a soft surface such as a bed. Keep any air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
