Package List

Please check and make sure the camera (hereinafter referred to as “The Equipment”) is in good condition and all below parts are included after opened the package.

Can install 4 18650 batteries (pay attention to the positive and negative direction), can be connected to the power supply, the battery

Installation Guide

Open the back cover of the device as shown

Put the battery into the device (note the positive and negative terminals of the battery). You can put up to 4 18650 batteries and lock the rear case. Install the fixing screws on the wall using the mounting screws of the kit and the mounting paper. Align the fixing holes of the wall of the camera with the fixing screws, and fasten the fastening to the device to complete the device installation. As shown.When installing, be careful that the solar panel should be fully exposed to sunlight.

Thanks for choosing our product. Please scan the following QR codes to install the app on your mobile. Then set up your Equipment by following steps after it’s done.

Download and install the Mobile APP

Scan the QR codes to download and intall it
For Apple users, please search app “UBox” in the App store to download it
For Android users, please search app “UBox” in Google Play store to download the app

APP REGISTRATION

Open the app then input your E-mail address then press ‘Register’. Check and select to agree the agreement then your E-mail box will get an verification code.
( For better user’s experience, please allow to open all permissions to avoid missing any notifications from the app.)

Input the “Verification code 〞and press ‘Next’. （if  you not found the mail you might find the code in your email spam box. ）

Set the login password and confirm the login password. Then press ‘Register’ to next step.
(For your password safety, the password requires more than 8 characters plus a combination of letters)

(Enter your E-mail address, and input your login password. Then press ‘Login’.

WI-FI CONNECTION

Press ‘Add Family’ then set the room or position as per reminders.

Enter your family name and then press ‘Next’.

Input the necessary information just like Country, Province, then press ‘Done’.

Press ‘Add a device’ to add a smart device Connect the device with power supply, and make sure your mobile phone is connected to an available Wi-Fi. Then press ‘Setup device’.

After the power on the device, wait for the voice prompt 〝The device is waiting for pairing〞. Which means your device is in pairing mode. If you did not hear the voice prompt, please press the doorbell to wake up the device first, then hold and press the RESET button until the blue indicator to light up and then release. The device will reboot and enter the pairing state.

The app will input the Wi-Fi name automatically, please input the correct Wi- Fi Password. Then you can
choose the ‘QR code configuration’ or ‘Sound wave configuration’ . QR code configuration: Select the QR code configuration then the mobile phone display a QR code. Use the device to scan to the QR code 10cm away from the mobile phone.

Select the family name or device location then press ‘Done.’ The device will enter to the device list automatically. Setup success! The device is ready to use.

Android User Open Notification SettingsOpen App and Select My-> My Friends-> Push Settings-> Auto run -> Find UBox Open Auto Management -> Click UBox Manual Management again – > Allow Self-Start, Allow Associated Start to Open, Allow Later Activities to Open – > Click OK

USING THE APP

Click the 〝Calendar 〞icon on the right top corner , then choose the date to playback the vicoes from cloud storage. Choose the desired date to check all videos from the cloud.

SPECIAL NOTES!

1.  The device is equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery. The battery life will be affected by the device wake-up time and the number of wake-ups.
   Therefore, the PIR sensor alarm detection function is used in an environment with a lot of people. It is recommended to turn off or set the device to low sensitivity to reduce device wake-up and call times extend battery life.
   When the battery is low, please charge the battery immediately.

2.  Keep the device in range of your router.
   Make sure the device is placed close to the Wi-Fi router. If there has to be thick or insulated objects between the device and the
   Wi-Fi router, which may lead to weak Wi-Fi signal, please make sure the Wi-Fi signal is in good level before you start using the device.

3. It is a dedicated device with low power consumption design. Every time the device is awakened and will work for few seconds. After that, the device will enter standby mode to save power. You can set the work time in the app settings.

4.  Because the mainland China does not receive Google’s system push messages, you need to open the app’s self-starting function in your phone to receive push messages.

5.  This device provides one month of free cloud storage and face recognition services. If you need to continue using value-added services after the trial period expires, you need to purchase them in the app.

Q&A

Q: The device cannot connect to WIFI?
A:

1. Please confirm that the wireless network to be connected is the 2.4G protocol.
2. Make sure the indicator light is in the slow red light state
3. The password is correct, make sure there is no extra spaces.

Q: The device is online and there is a trigger event, but the mobile phone cannot receive the push message
A: The app on the mobile has turned on“self-starting” function and has enabled the notification function on application permission.
Turn off“battery optimization” and turn off the function of end app when phones in standby (The mobile phone manufacturer’s optimization method is inconsistent. Please take the actual situation as the standard.)

Q:  What power supply mode does the device support?

A:

Q: The device cannot support 3G mobile phone remote viewing?
A: 3G mobile phone is not supported at the moment, only supports 4G mobile phone
