If the gas alarm is to be used to detect bottled gas, it must be positioned 30 cm above the floor.
You must not paint over or cover the gas alarm, nor should it be placed in a location with significant air circulation.

Use

Mount the gas alarm in the required location and connect it to the power.
The indicator shines red while the gas alarm warms up (around 2 minutes). While warming up, the gas alarm cannot detect gas.
Once the indicator switches off , the gas alarm is active and registers the gas content in the air.
If the gas content in the air exceeds the gas alarm’s limit value, the indicator ashes red and the alarm signal sounds.

  • Test
Press and hold the TEST button for a few seconds to test the gas alarm’s function. Test the gas alarm regularly.
    Faults
If the indicator fiashes red once every 40 seconds, there is a fault in the gas alarm. Disconnect the gas alarm from the power and remove any dust from its vents and reconnect the alarm. If the fault continues, the gas alarm needs to be inspected by an expert.

  • Cleaning and maintenance
Brush the gas alarm regularly with a soft brush. The gas alarm must not be exposed to water or liquids.
