Product Usage Instructions

Connection and Initial Setup:

  1. Open the cover of the device.
  2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to the Ethernet port of the device.
  3. Plug the device into a power source.
  4. Download the WinBox configuration tool from https://mt.lv/winbox.
  5. Access the device using the default IP (192.168.88.1) and username (admin). No password is required.

Configuration and Settings:

  1. Configure the device to establish an active Internet connection by visiting https://mt.lv/configuration.
  2. Upgrade the RouterOS software to the latest version by following the instructions at https://mt.lv/upgrade.
  3. In the QuickSet menu, select your country to apply country regulation settings.
  4. Adjust the antenna gain based on the antenna used.
  5. Set the installation setting to ‘Outdoor’.
  6. Set up your wireless network password with a minimum length of eight symbols.
  7. Create a router password for login authentication.

Safety Information:
Before working on the device, ensure you are aware of electrical hazards and follow standard safety practices. Use only approved  power supplies and accessories provided by the manufacturer. Installation should be done by trained personnel following local electrical codes. Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.

Mounting Instructions and Radio Frequency Safety:
This product is designed for outdoor pole mounting. Follow mounting instructions carefully to prevent hazardous situations and damage. Maintain a distance of at least 25 centimeters from your body or others when operating the device to comply with radiation exposure limits.

  • Depending on the antenna used, you must set its gain and set the installation setting to ‘Outdoor’. This is to ensure that EIRP meets the limit set by the local authorities. This is done in the Quickset, CPE menu.

First steps:

  • Open the cover;
  • Connect Ethernet cable from your computer to the Ethernet port;
  • Plug the device into the power source;
  • Download WinBox configuration tool https://mt.lv/winbox;
  • Default IP: 192.168.88.1, user name: admin and there is no password, or use Neighbors tab and connect through MAC address (or, for some models, check user and wireless passwords on the sticker);
  • Once connected configure the device, so it has an active Internet connection https://mt.lv/configuration;
  • Upgrade the RouterOS software to the latest version https://mt.lv/upgrade;
  • Connect again and in the QuickSet menu choose your country, to apply country regulation settings;
  • Set the antenna gain, depending on the antenna used;
  • set the installation setting to ‘Outdoor’;
  • Set up your wireless network password, the password must be at least eight symbols;
  • Set up your router password in the bottom field to the right and repeat it, it will be used to log in next time.

  • In the case of device failure, please disconnect it from power. The fastest way to do so is by unplugging the power adapter from the power outlet.
  • This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment, this product might cause radio interference in which case the user might be required to take adequate measures!
